big spending rich people like britney spears will be hit, I doubt some idle rich guy with millions in the bank that does nothing but watch tv all day long will pay a dime.
the people who will really be hit are small businesses who purchase tremendous amounts of products but don't make much profit.

Man50D, what planet have you been living on? The wealthy has been the ONLY class which has multiple choices as to how much tax they pay. The wealthy can employee tax attorneys, use tax shelters, set up estates and foundations. They are, at the present, the ONLY class with choices of how NOT to pay tax. The tax code is full of choices for those who are wealthy.
Under the fair tax, if it is truly fair, only by their spending will the rich be able to determine their tax.
