SAFETY HARBOR, Florida (AP) -- Terri Schiavo's former husband has married his longtime girlfriend, friends and family members say.
Michael Schiavo and his longtime girlfriend, Jodi Centonze, were wed Saturday at a church in Florida. The bride's brother says it was a very emotional ceremony.
Schiavo's former wife, Terri, had suffered severe brain damage more than a decade ago and died last March after her feeding tube was removed.
Michael Schiavo had argued his wife was in a vegetative state, and would not want to be kept alive artificially.
...snip.....
The newlyweds first met in a dentist's office and began a relationship after Terri Schiavo was already in a nursing home. They have two young children.

So F**in What? This is news?
It leads me to believe he was complicit in her condition.

Well, now that all likely impediments brutally swept out of the way, the man is free to marry. "Congratulations" are in order for the groom and for the bride, "congratulations"?

Dead or Alive ?
Always follow the money trail .
Have you received any form of email calling you a member of FR's death cult? If not...stay tuned. It's a sin how ugly good christians can be..

Both the State of Florida and the US Atty Gen Office looked at the case against MS. Both found there was insufficient evidence to indict or charge. Give it up.
"I still cannot understand why he could not let her parents care for her."
Because of his conviction that their care of her was different than what he thought she wanted for herself.
well i know many people who went out and got a living will after all of this and made their wishes well known to their families and friends. they made it all legal so nobody could do what was done to terri to them.
Which, I'm sure, is just one of many good reasons you aren't one.
Which is why I don't pay much attention to these threads anymore.
Sometimes, I need to be reassured that the reason I left a topic was because it was beneath me.
Thanks for proving my point. Carry on..LOL.

I have been passionate in my support of the pro life movement but abortion has been liberalized even more in recent years. I'm not sure what you are suggesting, but I don't limit my ranting to things I think I can change.
Um, yeah.
It was Terri that said she didn't want to live like that.
Yeah, right. You get on the thread and start bashing Christians. Then I point out that you obviously are not one yourself, and you say I'm being nasty and personal. Anybody on here who wanted Terri Schiavo dead needs to go over to DU, where all the posts will be at your . . . uh . . . level.
This is my last post to this thread..lucky you.

It was.
Depends on his boredom factor.
I'm sorry, Hildy, but you can't just post that and get away with it. Terri had at least one ubiquitous ulcer (bedsore) that I'm aware of, around Feb.1994. She also lost five teeth due to inadequate hygiene.
If you think Michael took such good care of Terri, then explain to me why did he not fix her wheelchair so that she could be wheeled outside from time to time. She spent the last five years of her life in one room. That's definitely abuse in my book!
