Fox News alert a few minutes ago says the Dover School Board lost their bid to have Intelligent Design introduced into high school biology classes. The federal judge ruled that their case was based on the premise that Darwin's Theory of Evolution was incompatible with religion, and that this premise is false.

no adequate explanation for the origin of life from dead chemicals
This has nothing to do with the theory of evolution.
no transitional forms
You are simply lying here.
frauds
Your list of "frauds" was exposed as being primarily creationist fraud in claiming that non-frauds were frauds.
You are a liar.

Well, since you are of the belief that science strictly entails absolute claims, and science by nature cannot make them except in rare cases, it seems we will not agree on this. That's okay.

Why wouldn't you say he espouses agnostic science? Does that not rouse all the same emotions?

I've wondered if there are any stories

Believers and non believers all seem
to see the same vision and He looks
a lot like Jesus. Some call His name
or say they can hear the angels singing.

After discussing some of the facts, the judge spent several pages discussing the jurisdictional issues. He was very careful to review the precedents, and laid out precisely why he had jurisdiction over the case. Those who want to deny this are free to do so, but they're misinformed. And the information is so easy to find.

Ace of Spades and Kjobs,
Just remember that any government powerful enough to shove evolution down the throats of resistant children is powerful enough to shove anything repugnant down the throats of YOUR children.
Education of the young has highly political, cultural, and religious consequences for ALL the children in the school. The only fair and rational way to solve the continual cat fights over curriculum and school policies is to PRIVATIZE all K-12 education.
If you believe in separation of school and state then you MUST also advocate for complete separation of SCHOOL and state.
Government schools are an abomination! They are an assault on freedom of conscience.

The closed minded cultish Darwin Only types should know that this issue is not going away. My kids go to a highly acclaimed Christian Academy ( many National Merit Finalists) and they teach intelligent design in the context of how this Darwin Model of evolution continues to evolve when the "science" is shown to be false or downright lies.

But its not the courts [sic] job to step into something that is so obviously a local matter. If you think it isn't the federal court's job to hear cases alledging a violation of the 1st amendment establishment clause, under the doctrine of "incorporation" under the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution, then you need a refresher course in Constitutional law.
More to the point, if not the courts, who then, is to protect the public against the tyranny of the majority? Hypothetically, what if local voters elect public officials to violate your constitutional rights by outlawing YOUR church, to what legal authority will you appeal for relief? Remember, the majority of local voters favored this action; that's why it is called the "tyranny of the majority."

Did Darwin really reject his own theory... Of course not. Even if he did, in a fit of mental collapse, what difference would it make? The theory is fine. The comment was probably in reference to this ancient myth:
The Lady Hope Story: A Widespread Falsehood.

You computer is possessed by daemons. I can't read as fast without sound, even on soundless FR. Lack of "clack" and all that.
Old (4.5 years) machine, dusty computer room. (Who dusts?)
Next one will have DSL and at last I'll really fly. That's the plan, anyway.

From the above, it's obvious why the Dover lost.
