Thanks for the AMW link. No wonder Dave is as pissed as Beth - he did have hope he'd still find her - and that disappeared.

I think he spent a night or so in jail at the same time the K2 bros were re-arrested. There was a big wind about him being charged with filming underage girls, but it just blew away to nothing.

Croes posting is chilling, moreso than when he did it so long ago.....taken with the rumor of him visiting VDS before meeting Beth that nite and the apparent power or protection that PVDS seems to have, the implications could be exponential. Pretty substantial for a failed test or substitute judge, whatever the truth is. And remember that years ago he was involved in a big way in the investigation/prosecution of one of Jossy's relatives.

I'd like to give Croes AND Jossy some truth serum. Well, a whole bunch of them, actually.

As much as I'd like to think Natalee is alive, I doubt it. I don't think it was chocolate and cleaning fluid found in Deepak's car.

I think Natalee probably died of a drug overdose because of Joran's statement about her going in and out of consciousness. I think it might have been Natalee's bodily fluids other than blood that was in Deepak's car.

My second scenario is Joran killed her in a rage. He is known to have a raging temper. And rape has an element of control, abuse and humiliation of the victim.

Well common sense says you're right -

My grandad used to change which team he was rooting for bottom of the 9th if his team was losing - in my family we call that "pulling a gramps." I'd love to pull a gramps on this someday and say "SEEEEE I had this feeling she was still alive"

I do think that explains the just about pure fury we've seen from Beth and Dave - it could be that Beth was waiting for Dave to come to this conclusion - and he had to do it on his own. I can't help but wonder why Jug isn't being interviewed right now, or if he is, I've missed it.

I keep remembering what Croes said, and hoping he will make some further revelation to the FBI or DEA or something like that.

He has the cell phone business and, if I remember right, also a clothing store called BOSS on the main street. I would think he knows just about everyone on Aruba.

I wasn't sure about Jossy for the longest time, but I think he might be a good guy. Sincere in his efforts to help Natalee's family. Of course, I've been wrong about some of the players in this story.

I've heard him express concern about the damage this case has done to Aruba, but unlike his counter parts, he has placed the blame of this damage where it belongs. He has been fair and supportive of the family, particularly Beth.

I appreciate the help his family has given with the searches. Jossy's son was involved hands on with the landfill searches.

I think it was a very helpful move for Jossy to print the family's letter to the Aruban AG. The reason given is to educate the Arubans about the truths Natalee's family has encountered that shows the reason for the family's anger.

Perhaps Jossy is trying to stir up some local activism in support of Natalee's family to put pressure on ALE and the prosecutor to solve this case. I think Jossy has long ago figured out that justice for Natalee will prevent the further economic damage to Aruba. Now the populace needs to realize this and seek justice for Natalee.

The Tierra Del Sol Golf Tournament


The Tierra Del Sol Golf Tournament over the weekend was pronounced a great success. Sponsors HUGO BOSS & Cuba's Cooking restaurant, were both extremely happy with the turnout and intend to double that performance next year. In total, 87 persons signed up for the two day event.

The event is reported to have been the largest First-Time tourney in the history of Tierra Del Sol. More than 30% of the players came from Venezuela and stayed at the Wyndham Aruba Resort & Casino, which was a notable off-season feat. Insiders report the two days delivered a tremendous amount of fun.

Special thanks goes to Cory McKin (golf pro at TDS) who has been an example of great management and has gone overboard to make sure that everyone had a great time and that the technical aspects of the tournament were run as they should be. His efforts and conduct were recognized by both sponsors. Players report the golf course is in magnificent condition and that the service and the attention to detail, were impeccable.

The tourney wrapped up Sunday night with award ceremonies and a BBQ. The BOSS team of Antonio Lozada and Aureliano Chopitea made an excellent showing. So did local husband and wife team the van Schaijk and golf partners Breuninger & Leonard. Charles Croes, the HUGO BOSS man on the island wanted the honors of being in last place, but was only able to secure second to last.


Attorney Andin Bikker won a HUGO BOSS sports watch for his outstanding "Shoot-out"(closest to the marker shot.)

Have you ever thought about Chavez of Venz. being involved in this scenario?

I think this case involves anti-americanism terrorisism as well.

I sure wish President Reagan were here, for we would see some action taken instead of pandering.

President Bush needs to stop kissing the mooselems & NOLA refugees asses, and start (TCBing in a flash)

Chavez needs to be muzzeled or neutralized, I prefer the latter.
