I agree. She even looked weird when she first had it done. Now that it has fallen she looks terrible again.
her legal "career" was as a defemse attorney.......I remember her being the cnn talking head/reporter for the Wm Kennedy-Smith trial......she weighed about 225 or so back then, she had the shrill irritating voice she still does, and her general appearance looked like she lived in a trailer-park--pathetic dresser, too....that face wasn't helped a bit with the extra 3-4 lbs of fat beneath the skin. I mean yuk! Wm K-S was her claim to fame....as an aside, I always thought it was uncle ted who actually raped the girl, and that they all knew it.
Shame on us - we can discuss Greta's handling of things - it seems to be slipping - but I think the personal remarks are beneath us -
Great points. I damn sure would not allow any 18 year to go to Aruba. I keep wondering where the heck the so called chaperones were?
Gonna go to a corner now with a 6 pack for some time out. Be much better when I get back. Promise.
Everyone will look much better when you get back MAWG ;)
If there is any truth to the rumor that one of the Americans hired by Aruba to do PR might make a "tell all" movie about the case, I fear none of us will see it because it will probably be some kind of porn flick considering who would be involved. Next they will be announcing that David Brock will be writing a book about the case!
"Everyone will look much better when you get back MAWG ;)"
-----
So drink up MAWG! We all want to look better.
Che, I agree we should save the personal attacks for those truly worthy, like Arlene...a proven liar. And Tito, another proven liar. And Dompig, another proven liar. Notice a pattern here? They are all located in Aruba.
Like her or not, Greta has done well in getting this story exposure and keeping it in the news. I do think she is a friend to Beth and the family. Why? Because Beth says so. Beth has called her friend and that's good enough for me until and unless Beth says otherwise.
I have plenty to say about dompig's name alone :) And how he's always so wanna be like in his photo's -
Agreed she's kept the story going
Agreed RG,Che. Greta has kept the story on the air. Now I'm going to bed. I get up at five every morning. HIC!
Ain't it the truth! It was reported by Tito that Dompig was ready to move quickly to bring the Kalpoe brothers back in for another "interview" as soon as the tapes were returned from the Dutch. Dompig heard those tapes before they left for the Netherlands and returned to Aruba. Dompig has now gotten his orders to discredit the tapes and he ain't moved at all on bring the Kalpoes back in for anything. Gee, Dompig sure shifted gears from before and after the Dutch testing of the tapes. Everybody lies, even big people...according to Mama Kalpoe.
Apparently not, justche.
No it's a common sense issue; however, from my experience the liberals do not excel in that area. Needless to say, I was surprised to hear her comment. 'Why did her parents let her go', we don't know for sure if they are guilty, there's no evidence, etc., is what I expected to hear.
However, now that Aruba has a marketing staff trying to make the cesspool return to it's 'one happy little island' status, she may be swayed. I find liberals not to have much staying power when it comes to truth.
unless Beth says otherwise.
Don't think she ever will, even IF she feels betrayed. She will gain nothing from doing that. Greta did pick up the ball in the beginning and I'm sure Beth will always be grateful. After all, we did she 'live sweat' because of Greta. But those days are over and Greta has moved on. Riding the fence suits her now.
Alabama's first lady backs Holloway family, condemns Aruba
By SAMIRA JAFARI
Associated Press Writer
December 08. 2005 9:30PM
Alabama First Lady Patsy Riley promised the family of missing teenager Natalee Holloway that the state will always support the search for her, and accused the Aruban government of turning its back on the family.
"To know that another country turned its back," Riley said, her voice breaking with emotion during a candlelit prayer meeting Thursday night for missing children. "The people of Alabama will never turn their back."
Holloway was last seen leaving a bar with three young men from Aruba during a graduation trip to the island May 30.
Holloway's mother, Beth Twitty, and her stepfather, Jug Twitty, attended the prayer meeting at the Gov.'s Mansion along with two dozen friends from the 18-year-old's hometown of Mountain Brook, a suburb of Birmingham. At least four other families of missing children also attended the meeting.
"It touches me that they have so much strength to stand up for our family," Jug Twitty said, referring to Gov. Bob Riley and his wife.
Two glass bowls were set out for what Riley called a "love offering" to help the Holloways in their search. She said the money would not be counted at the meeting and the family could "do with that what they choose."
Some 40 Alabama children are missing, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Tara Frazier, whose 15-year-old niece Sharnecia went missing a year ago, said that while the prayer meeting was largely focused on Holloway, she still felt consoled.
"It was a comfort," she said after the meeting. "Not so much sad, but comforting."
Patsy Riley, speaking from the steps of the mansion, asked the victims' families to stand together and draw from one another's strength. They held hands in prayer, later lighting white candles in memory of their missing children.
"This is about all missing children," the first lady told them. "The difference with Natalee is that a different country is involved. ...Therefore, there's a different crisis."
Holloway's family initially praised Aruban authorities for their work on the case, but they turned critical, alleging incompetence and conflicts of interest, and joined the governor in calling for a nationwide boycott of travel to Aruba.
Riley has sent letters to the 49 other American governors, urging them to join him in the boycott. So far, Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has been the only governor to join.
Meanwhile, Assistant Aruban Police Chief Gerold G. Dompig has said in interviews that Beth Twitty has hurt the investigation by releasing sensitive information during her frequent appearances on U.S. television shows. And he said Holloway's classmates need to be questioned more because of "disturbing" statements they've made on TV and the Internet.
The first lady said she decided to hold the prayer meeting this year because the holidays can be the toughest time for families who have lost a child.
Patsy Riley told the families that blowing out their candles "does not mean the end of this prayer meeting.
"We will never stop searching for your loved ones."

justche! Have you ripped Greta to shreds? If the answer is "No", why have you taken a "politically correct" stance? Think about it. You included everyone in the "us", including yourself. In other words, you didn't want to name names. Safer that way.
If I read it all wrong, I'm sorry.
For myself, I am not out to offend anyone here who understands the pain and frustration that Beth Twitty, Dave Holloway, and any others have endured for the last 6 months.
I will say, though, that tearing Greta Van Susteren apart for her possible waning of the fire she has had for this tragedy, and the merciless criticism of her physical appearance is disgusting to me. If these people believe they are Christians, they need a conscience-check.
I hope they are not Catholics, waltzing themselves up to receive Communion every Sunday.
I continue to ignore your posts - because I can't quite tell the motivation behind them. Yet you continue to kind of zoom in - I'm sure you're well intentioned - but you don't always come across that way.
I'm going to stick with what I said earlier and leave it at that.
Thanks
Good Morning Lumper,
As to the chaperones, they were trying to be cool and get in the mix.
Their mindset never allowed them to fathom a tragedy like this could happen.
Maybe a better equaution would be things like that do not happen in aruba. "Don't Worry Be Happy" another round of B-21(s)bartender!
The perp(s) should should have ceased breathing long ago, yet they are made to appear as victim(s) and heros by their MSM/hate America crowd.
The blame also rest on Natalee's so called friend's, who in my opinion do not have enough common sense to pour,"piss out of a boot."
When I was growing up real friend(s) typically breathed for each other and took care of their own.
What we have here, are the new world "kalifronia dreaming" concept of superficial friendship and looking out for each other.
Both Jug and Dave as the step-father& father of Natalee ,need to realize justice will never be achieved by following the rules of dutch law."It Ain't Gonna Happen" in their life-time.
In this charade of justice, there is only one logical and sound approach. Invest some money in a professional sanitation crew that will take out the trash in a timely and extremely painful manner.

Good Morning CO,
I just exited my bomb shelter and it is very apparent in Van Sustern's reporting lifestyle.
One can never trust a liberal of "scientology mook"(contempible person) to do anything right.
GVS, was more intersted in being in the lime-light as the super-sleuth reporter.
Liberals have no real concept of justice, just the feel good " Save Tookie" mindset.
The only thing that needs to be understood about aruba is boycott them to their knees, and let them starve in the streets.
Satirically speaking, maybe Greta is now trying to win the hearts and minds of the aruba/dutch POS.
Liberals have no allegiance to America or anyone who does not tow their demented party line.
What we needed on this case would be the late," Morton Downey." He would have been on this like white on rice as "Tubb's (Miami Vice) used to say.
Funny, I still seee no intervention by the Ivory House On The Hill.
I guess they would rather listen to a bunch of welfare/public assistance cry-babies(former black panther) ranting about racism in the aftermath of Katrina.
Better yet, the PA and other muslokes might need a few more "cool billions"(American Tax Dollar) give away programs to build up their infrastructure.
Damn!!!! I almost forgot, we need to worry about some other countries cobra-charming talisman's election results. So we foot the bill, to fly in Jimuh "peanut brain-face" carter to give a fair and accurate election result authenication(validation)??????????????
Oh Me Oh My!! we should all just sit back on our asses, light up a Cool, put on our rose colored glasses and proclaim, "Our Leaders always put America&Americans first over everyone else.
It Ain't Nothin But A Thing, It Don't Mean Nothin,
