I worked my way through college in a hotel that had quite a few europeans as guests and I became pretty good at spotting them quickly (they were terrible tippers) and distinguishing them from homos (who were really good tippers, perhaps the only mitigating factor in their existence).
While euros tend to look like queers on the surface, they can be distinguished by doing things like wearing glasses that are weird colors (who would buy a pair of blue glasses?), shoes that no American would ever wear (red dress shoes?), carrying man purses, and wearing cheap sport coats with jeans. The key here, is when the writer tells us these guys were grinding on eachother, that's a double whammy, euro AND fags.
Of course having Rick Steves traipsing around their continent with his rucksack and short shorts probably doesn't do much for their perception of us (God only knows what he does when the camera is off), but screw them.
