IF ANYTHING, the only thing I am GRATEFUL for, is that he did not choose GONZALES, thanks God!!!!!..... Because that would have put me, and many here, in a very difficult situation. You I, am many Hispanics could care less if they elect or choose someone Hispanic for a particular office . What we want on my side of the Hispanic-spectrum is QUALITY, CONSERVATIVE QUALITY. If we ever produce someone of that caliber, then I might feel proud, but the suggestion that a mediocre candidate would somehow thrill us, the hispanics (all painted with the same brush), is offensive. I don't know where Mr Williams gets that perception other than the fact he is black, and as we all know 90% or so, of blacks vote democratic. We hispanics are a different bunch in many many different ways.
I could say more, but I'll stop here :)
Juan Williams is talking from Democrat talking points, where race trumps rational thinking. But, race is a red herring since a black or Hispanic conservative is not acceptalbe to them.
That kind of racial pandering and projection just does not cut it....ANYWHERE. It is insulting, demeaning and revolting.
I could say more, but I'll stop here :)

It is sickening how so many people seem to think that identity politics, a subset of groupthink, is OK. It is especially sickening where we know that if perchance, Bush would nominate a clone of Thomas, the same critics would find something else to criticize the nominee for.
The MSM definitely does NOT want a hispanic on the bench unless it's someone appointed by the left.
Everytime I've heard anyone make race a political move, it just shuts me off. It's sickening... These race baiters can't seem to understand the basic human dignity!!!
