Ted had his moment in the spotlight with the DC sniper. Fox signed him to a contract as an expert and I am sure there is pressure to use him although he rarely adds any useful insights. His verbal skills provide some amusement, however. A refreshing change from that Princeton fop Geraldo (you will be glad to know that Geraldo was the freshman roommate of a friend of mine who said that Geraldo was pretty much the same as a freshman - arrogant, pushy, willing to say things that were ridiculous so that he could get his ya-yas by convincing people he was right). Fox has really assembled a team of blowhards and bozos. Maybe they should be called "The B Team."
Too bad Rita "According to my sources" Crosby has left - it makes Fox less amusing to watch.
I'd guess it would be over Natalee Halloway. But I suppose there is the outside chance that it is actually over some other tourist/islander from their past where some evidence finally came together. No idea who, though.
And suppose they did cacth these two over over a totally different case. Could be Joran is involved in that, too. But imagine this: "We have the evidence to get you two over a different case, but we can't get your buddy Joran, whome we know you're tight with. And he may go free soon over the Halloway case. If Joran is involved, is there any way you can help us with a lead in either case?" I imagine toungues would start wagging then.
Of course, those are BIG IFs.
This very interesting information and I think it needs to be scrutinized. What better scenario than to have a C&C connection if you are looking to find/or drug young women. Seems C&C doesn't do a very good job of carding the young people. Seems Joran has been going there for over a year, as some of the pics from C&C are dated early 2004. If this 16 year girl that is pressing charges was with Joran at C&C's early this spring...well, is that a coincidence? hmm.
I would think that if there is a connection to someone in Miami and they can be linked to Natalee's disappearance in any way at all that should open the door for the FBI to get/be more involved.
As far as Lacle, don't know if he is related to Tito or not. It's hard to tell down there. There is another person I saw that was involved in settling some property issues for some people on the island a year or so ago...a woman whose last name is Lacle...Tito is single...so he says. Don't know who she could be related to...Garrick? Tito?
Julia Refro is a mystery at this point. Seems to be a little unhappy with Americans and is in a position to 'shape the minds' of the Aruban population thru Aruba Today.
So so many connections. This is a scarry place..imo
Well, you make an excellent point. As I read your post it took me back to the idea that Natalee was alive when Beth first came to the island. Could the conspiracy have developed after that?

This possibility distresses me. To think it could have happened on this timeline would break my heart.
Shango is not only a mythical god...he is also the lead character in a play by the Nigerian playwright, Femi Osofisan. The play is Many Colors Make the Thunder-King. In this play, Shango seeks the truth by confronting riddles. I am looking for the text but so far no luck.

There is a book titled Crimson Monkeys written by Darren Franz. It appears to be a horror story. Don't know if this adds anything for those of you who keep up on the Shango angle.
I posted this before but I truly think C&C is in on this somehow. I think it's a procurement point, set up by a bartender on the take, of pretty young woman. Natalee became a target because she had too much to drink and was easily accessible.
