Missing: Natalee Holloway participated in a trip with 125 seniors from Mountain Brook High School to Aruba in the Caribbean. In the early morning hours on May 30, 2005 Natalee was seen leaving a nightclub and getting into a vehicle. She failed to turn up Monday morning for her return flight home and she has not been seen since. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.
Profile: Natalee Holloway was born on October 21, 1986 to Beth and Dave Holloway. She grew up in the close-knit community of Mountain Brook, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. She was very popular and respected by her classmates and had a reputation among peers at being very intelligent and focused on her future. She lived up to her reputation, graduating as an honors student from the Mountain Brook High School.

No, its absurd to think that the lack of a long list of date-raped and/or missing girls means that this Joran and his two sidekicks are innocent.
Other victims would establish a pattern of conduct, other dates could be checked, etc. This was quite possibly his first attempt. And remember, if he convinced her that this car was a taxi, he needn't have used any drug at all. He is big and strong. By the time she realized they were going past the Holiday Inn, what could she do? She has been described as being everything from a saint to a slut. If she was raped, but not drugged, and it turned out to have been her first time, she may have been killed simply because the cops would know that she had not consented to her first time being with three strange men in the back seat of a car on an Aruban beach. If she was drugged, it may have been an overdose or idiosyncratic reaction. Even if she was very sexually active, the murder could have been sparked by the near bar fight with an American lad. I'm not saying the absence of a long list of victims makes Joran innocent; only that it robs us of supporting evidence.
I just don't see there being that much crime against tourists there. Natalee has indeed made her mark in the world, but its not the one that was expected of her.
Just for the record, my goddaughter went on the trip - the kids think Natalee thought she was getting into a cab to go back to the Holiday Inn with Joran and everybody else, she would have never gone with those three guys and she met Joran that night.

I'd also read that she was worried she'd miss the plane, was tired from scuba diving all day, and fully intended to go back to the hotel.

There is another MB female student that has been reported as stating that she and Natalee met Joran the day before. I will see if I can find the article/s.
hmmm...that's all I know. Actually, when I questioned my friend about reports that Natalee had met Joran a few days previous to the night she dissapeared she said that she thinks the people who said that don't know what they are talking about. I hate to start talking about this because I wasn't there so I don't know really who saw what.
to the best of your knowledge has the FBI talked with all of the kids with relevant information, and esp the ones in the cliques Natalee associated with?
Also, do you know if they have been cautioned/asked to limit their public statements for reasons that include the integrity of the FBI's knowledge, compromising the case in other ways, and (equally important) to avoid unnecessary negative impressions pertaining to themselves and Natalee?

Paul Reynolds stated that the Twittys have hired a new attorney, one that will be more aggressive. He stated that yes there was a kidnapping, a coverup, a conspiracy, an alibi.
Reynolds also stated that from the beginning there was conflict between the lead investigator (Van Stratten) and the Prime Minister (Oduber) who wanted to bring in the FBI.

I'd also like to know if you are aware of any aruban official investigating the case has made a request to interview any of the kids here......or actually interviewed any of them.........an earnest aruban investigation would surely include it, one would think.

Three Aruban girls comng forward to press charges against Joran for drugging and assaulting them as recently as this spring. An attorney and Beth were on talking about this.
