Missing: Natalee Holloway participated in a trip with 125 seniors from Mountain Brook High School to Aruba in the Caribbean. In the early morning hours on May 30, 2005 Natalee was seen leaving a nightclub and getting into a vehicle. She failed to turn up Monday morning for her return flight home and she has not been seen since. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.
Profile: Natalee Holloway was born on October 21, 1986 to Beth and Dave Holloway. She grew up in the close-knit community of Mountain Brook, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. She was very popular and respected by her classmates and had a reputation among peers at being very intelligent and focused on her future. She lived up to her reputation, graduating as an honors student from the Mountain Brook High School.
Extracurricular Activities: During Natalle's high school years she participated several extracurricular activities including: The American Field Service - A club which interacts with the foreign exchange students. Future Goals: Natalee received a full scholarship to the University of Alabama. She planned to major in Pre-Med, in order to pursue her goal of being a pediatrician.
I am a little glad to hear that others have sometimes been put off over there. I went to amber alert site and they are asking for handwritten letters to the Dutch ambassador.
When I shared it over there, all I got was "again?" I felt like "why are you posting here if you aren't willing to be helpful or supportive?" I haven't been back.
But I see there are people who use my name in other places. I guess they think it's funny that Joran could walk. Like some here who chime in about the coverage.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE NEXT COVERAGE WILL BE ON? I can't watch it every day. Frustrating.
I think they think they have it all wrapped up. Any investigation into the corruption would have to come from the Netherlands, but I believe that it goes that high. I think this somehow really is connected to the drugs, porn, and prostitution pipeline into voracious Amsterdam. I don't know how. I don't know if poor Natalee was to be sucked into it, or was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, or what. It seems like there are too many willing girls to mess around with kidnapping this straight arrow type.
Hi Froufrou!! I've missed a couple of days posting too but the talk shows really are frustrating. Every time I see Tito Lacle interviewed I always get the "impression" that he experiences great glee at any bad news for the Prosecution. Like when he reported that they refused to take DNA from the kalpoe's and also he seems to smirk when he describes that the Vandersloot BRAT just sits there and covers his ears and won't answer a single question. He likes to imply that the investigation is going nowhere imo!!

On 8-18 GOLBA had to return to the UNITED STATES.
On 8-18 “CNN” reported that the man from TENNESSEE who has the machine he contends he has detected human remains in the ocean about one mile off shore from the beach where Joran said he left Natalee has been working in ARUBA for 4 or 5 days with one of the AMERICAN private investigators (maybe WOOD). The “machine“ appears to be similar to a divining rod, which has been used for centuries to locate water under the ground. “CNN“ said that it is planned that divers will investigate the spot on the morning of 8-20.
On 8-18 DAVE HOLLOWAY said he spoke with TIM MILLER and DAVE said he will return to ARUBA the next time MILLER returns. MILLER told DAVE he is in the early stages of organizing to have bulldozers shipped from the UNITED STATES to ARUBA, accompanied by corporate-sponsored personnel, to help search the landfill more.
On 8-18 Main Suspect J. SLOOT was not interrogated.
On 8-18 in a planned event attended by several persons, an ARUBAN painter presented BETH and JUG with a picture he had painted.
On 8-18 BETH told “MSNBC” that she has been able to stay in ARUBA now because the teachers that she works with have donated their sick days to help her.
I couldn't agree with you more John. The OBVIOUS AND DELIBERATE bungling in the very beginning was the indication that they NEVER were going to properly investigate the principals of this case. I'm of the opinion that Paul Van der Slut is involved even in the actual burial of Natalee's body and probably the hiding of it for several days. He then goes as far as to attempt to get these guys alibi's coordinated and tells them "no body no case", tells these boys to manipulate the times on their computer hard drives, not to use cell phones etc. He's obviously in this up to his eyeballs and he's also been DELIBERATELY ignored as a suspect. The Twitty's aren't buying his uninvolvement however and they seem to be mentioning him more and more lately.
My heart goes out to that woman. The pain she is feeling is something I can't even imagine.
I guess I was just wondering if they would keep it secret from Beth herself if they had the body. Probably not.
This is just all so very strange.

what if some evidence the defense wants is contained within or related to the stuff about Twitty having a Dutch business partner living on aruba? I can easily see actual evidence in this case springing forth as a result of the truth (whatever it really is) of that relationship......
Why would it matter? Gretas not the only one reporting on this. Seems she asks the same questions that everyone else does. Nancy Grace, O'Reilly, Abrams, LKL, Hannity. All of the guests have been on every show. Is it because Greta went to Aruba? I'm really curious about why it would matter.

That's certainly a possibility. The good thing is that eventually all the evidence either side has will be revealed . . .

No, it was strange how it happened and of course another reg jumped in with a comment and everyone had a good hee haw and had no clue what or WHO they were talking or laughing about.

What happened was that I made a joke (the night before) and then one of the gruesome twins dutifully reported it to the other and the other was, of course HORRIFIED, and said, WHO SAID THAT? The response was, Oh, just some Pendew, nothing important.
So childish.
