I couldn't agree with you more John. The OBVIOUS AND DELIBERATE bungling in the very beginning was the indication that they NEVER were going to properly investigate the principals of this case. I'm of the opinion that Paul Van der Slut is involved even in the actual burial of Natalee's body and probably the hiding of it for several days. He then goes as far as to attempt to get these guys alibi's coordinated and tells them "no body no case", tells these boys to manipulate the times on their computer hard drives, not to use cell phones etc. He's obviously in this up to his eyeballs and he's also been DELIBERATELY ignored as a suspect. The Twitty's aren't buying his uninvolvement however and they seem to be mentioning him more and more lately.

Missing Teen: Defense lawyers push for more access to evidence in case of missing U.S. teen

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) - Defense lawyers for a Dutch teenager held in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway pushed to see more evidence against their client Wednesday, appealing a judge's ruling that the prosecution didn't have to divulge more details.

Defense lawyers argued they needed more access to evidence than Chief Prosecutor Karin Janssen has allowed, said Ariean de Bie, a lawyer for suspect Joran van der Sloot.

We don't feel we've had the access we need," de Bie said upon leaving the closed-court session, declining to elaborate. Last month, a judge ruled against the lawyers' motion to see more evidence. A decision on the appeal was expected Monday.

Calls to Janssen's office seeking comment were not immediately returned. Van der Sloot, 18, and two Surinamese brothers were the last people seen with Holloway on May 30, the day she disappeared while on a graduation trip to the Dutch Caribbean island.

Massive searches have produced no sign of the 18-year-old woman from Birmingham, Alabama.

But the thing that gets me is that they've managed to cover up every single tidbit of forensic evidence. I don't see how they've done that. OTOH, there may be plenty of it on the VDS property, she may even be buried there, but I don't think they've ever searched there. Or maybe they did once, I think they took Urine's computer.
