Missing: Natalee Holloway participated in a trip with 125 seniors from Mountain Brook High School to Aruba in the Caribbean. In the early morning hours on May 30, 2005 Natalee was seen leaving a nightclub and getting into a vehicle. She failed to turn up Monday morning for her return flight home and she has not been seen since. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.
Profile: Natalee Holloway was born on October 21, 1986 to Beth and Dave Holloway. She grew up in the close-knit community of Mountain Brook, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. She was very popular and respected by her classmates and had a reputation among peers at being very intelligent and focused on her future. She lived up to her reputation, graduating as an honors student from the Mountain Brook High School.
Extracurricular Activities: During Natalle's high school years she participated several extracurricular activities including: The American Field Service - A club which interacts with the foreign exchange students. Dorians Dance Team Future Business Leaders of America Mu Alpha Theta - Math honor society Natural Helpers - A peer based emotional support group. The 3 Americans from the US were the ones that came forward that did not point at Joran but instead stated: Last week the FBI indicated that at least three American women have come forward since Natalee's disappearance to report that they had been sexually assaulted while vacationing in Aruba
The ones that named Joran were the 3 Aruban girls mentioned here and they claim drugged , raped and or assualted.

We had a poster last month by the name of "Brian", I haven't seen him much lately. He was corresponding with girls from Joran's tickle site. He got one of the girls to talk. She stated that while she was on vacation to Aruba, she met Joran and thinks that she could be been sexually assaulted because she does not remember much of that evening. He was going to post her e-mail, but it was never posted. He forwarded the information to the FBI.

Please see the Announcement about Natalee's family on the first page. That page will be updated as news happens. Exactly what was said last night on MSNBC by the detective and by Beth regarding this was posted last night on the announcement.
My understanding in this case is that "rape" is when someone comes forward and tells all and in the all is intercourse against her will, where in Natalee's case, without her there to tell all, it is considered "sexual assault" in her behalf by others (her parents) in their complaint.
In the above mentioned announcement the words "sexual assault" are being used so that anything that happened against that person's will could be reported.
Concerning remembering after a date-rape drug is used: different people react differently to these drugs, depending on their size, how much of it they were given in their drink, how much of the drink they actually drank, how much other things are in their system to react with the date-rape drug such as alcohol and other drugs - including prescription, and their tolerance individual level to these things. They may have woke up during it, or in time to see something, like the perps leaving, etc. or hear them talking about what just occurred, etc.
At first (on the 20th) it was confirmed by the FBI that several American girls have now come forward telling about their experience while vacationing in Aruba. They have not released the description of these perps, so it may or may not be Joran or his friends.
Now (on the 22nd) there are 3 Aruban local girls (so far) in addition to the girls in the USA. Local girls would know Joran, since he is so well known on the island. One of them stated "she is not afraid of Joran's father", so apparently Paulus may have a reputation to protect his son, by intimidation methods, etc. even before Natalee.
Hopefully the headmaster and teachers will be brought in for interrogation, and the detective can talk to the other girls at both his school and public schools.
Please visit the announcement site often for news updates, and to leave your kind and thoughtful posts to encourage and strengthen Natalee's family in their quest to find out what happened to their daughter.

The other girls told us the same sort of things. This is a very small community, a lot of families don't like to admit this kind of thing.

What we hear from the police is that Paulus has changed his story, picking them up at McDonald's, reporting where Joran was when he wasn't really there at those times.
I know that Paulus and Joran together and sometimes Joran by himself or Paulus by himself gambled often.
It's one of the problems with the kid is that his father is very permissive with him, like under age gambling and drinking. They've allowed him to do things .....

I have spoken to the lawyer for the girl. We are giving the information to the aruban and american people. The police know this as well but they don't give out information. The prosecution and the police don't hold press conferences, they keep it all quiet until trial.
The other ladies went to the lawyers, not the police.

There was a ruling today that the defense attorneyscannot receive more of the prosecution's file - at least for now. Second ruling also today I think is that FBI can continue to receive documents from file and can continue to "consult" with ALE.
methinks the worm has turned with the new victims and court denial to defense and ALE scrambling they might just nail the perps..or at least some of them...someone tell me the Kalpoes didn't know abut Jorans escapedss before that night, since he supposedly bragged about it before...could they have decided to join in on the uncivilized activity? were are back to something bad happened...too bad they dont have a death penalty....
time to pick up the Kalpoes and PVDS and have a heart to heart talk with them...

Girl's attorney says she is courageous and is ready to come forward to tell she was given a date/rape drug and raped by Joran. She's been to authorities but hasn't been to police or prosecutor...has been to Aruba child authorities (????).
On last night's 9/11 special, they had a segment on how the police in the Phillippines made one of the terrorists talk. I think the Phillippine police need to pay a visit to Joran and have a little "talk" with he and his dad. Natalee would be found within hours!

BTW, I think the Kalpoes did know, because a girl who came forward and talked to Beth (about the same thing happening to her a few weeks earlier) corroborated that the brothers were sitting in the same places, etc., at CnC.
Thank you for your interest in supporting the family at SM's announcement thread. I'm glad there are good people around who care that young women are being exploited - and not jut on Aruba! It's happening everywhere! 65 out of 490 girls in Canton OH pregnant?! What's up with that?
