Here are some "after action" photos from tonight's Immigration Rally in Carlsbad.
300 Police and Sheriff Deputies lined the streets and sidewalks.
A mix of anti-anti-illegal immigration, anti war, anti-Tancredo, anti-bombing Mecca crowd.

Ten or more News trucks lined the street. LEOs in full riot gear. BTW... La Habra seems to have the nicest riot gear going. There were officers from all over San Diego County.
Monroe street was shut down by Carlsbad police.

I've brought up that issue for years, and the sole reason that I don't donate to FR. I won't be a party to their propaganda.
I won't name them by name, since it's only right to ping them when I do that, but they have to be professionally paid to do what they do.
It's an organized, concerted effort to drag the GOP to the left, I suspect. Why they're allowed here is beyond me, but it's not my site.

I couldn't agree more. Yet, this quisling constantly drones on about his good work for the GOP and his many contacts in the Republican ranks, and on and on and on. He claims to be a Republican. You know the type: GOP hispandering Big Tent collection of RINOs, liberals and moderates. At best.
Note that he will not go anywhere near my "loyal American conservative" question (#231). He flees from it like a vampire shown the holy cross. Doesn't really matter whether he answers or not. A non-answer or one festooned with qualifications, conditions and evasions is the same as a "No" answer. So we know where he stands. It isn't with loyal American conservatives. Not even close.
I consider the question, to the extent there ever really was a question, settled.

Nor do I. It appears we have about a half dozen or so hardcore go-for-the-throat quislings around here, with perhaps a like number of slightly less obnoxious quislings. After that, I see perhaps another 8 to 10 of what I would call kindred spirits or sympathizers, occasional rather than regular posters on the immigration threads.
I have no use for any of them. None.
Still, the morons do (unwittingly) provide a valuable service by keeping the threads bumped. 15 lurkers will read the article for each reply they make.
It always amazes me how long they hang on to get in the last word, even after being bitch-slapped silly by a majority of Freepers. You're right, though, they do keep the threads bumped.
