Here are some "after action" photos from tonight's Immigration Rally in Carlsbad.

300 Police and Sheriff Deputies lined the streets and sidewalks.

A mix of anti-anti-illegal immigration, anti war, anti-Tancredo, anti-bombing Mecca crowd.

Because we're talking about nuking the border?!

I love the "No One is ILLEGAL" sign.  Cop-killers, rapists, drug-runners... all legal?!

"Hey, where the white women?" (Blazing Saddles)

The woman holding up the JG is a terrorist sign was wearing a complete face mask.

Here's one of the good guys... just holding up the flag of the country we're all in.  The best quiet protester of all!

Ten or more News trucks lined the street.  LEOs in full riot gear.  BTW... La Habra seems to have the nicest riot gear going.  There were officers from all over San Diego County.

Monroe street was shut down by Carlsbad police.

If I were taking a wild guess the "battle of the workers" is some oblique reference to the Marxist "proletariat" and notions of a worker's revolution.

Nothing else seems applicable to me. At least at this point.

The real tragedy is that 300 police are needed to ensure the right to free speech at an anti illegal immigration rally. What does that tell you about the scum who are in favor of this invasion? They are violent, threatening violence. Seems like Mexican/Hispanic gang members and wannabees do the threatening.

Roger Hedgecock, who was moderator of the event and whose radio station did a live broadcast, MAYl be putting it up in his audio archive. I asked yesterday and he was still working on it with the suits. I'll try to get confirmation one way or the other today.

But, but, where are all the Mexican flags? I always love it when OBL's bring Mexican flags to a rally, it shows where their true allegiance lies.

I am curious, how many true American's and how many OBL's? I realize it's hard to figure especially when so many groups are represented (like the dingbat with the Hiroshima/Nagasaki sign as if that had any bearing on the meeting within, duh). But how many total and how many on each side of the issue?

yep, it's sad. I've noticed the same intellectual bankruptcy from the pro-illegal alien apologists that I notice in the anti-gun lobby.

It is the exact same group of people that are showing up to protest everything. There is a large group of extreme left wingers that are organized through the Internet and they can whip up a protest about anything that is pro-American at a moments notice. They show up at the G8 and WTO Meetings, they are the anti-war demonstrators, and they are the famous Howard Dean Internet contributors and the solid left base of the Democratic Party.

But speaking of the intellectual bankruptcy of the pro-illegal alien apologists, how about that President Bush and the ridiculous bumper sticker lines he keeps asking us to swallow? "Good hearted People"

That is a complete total lie. Are lies and personal attacks the best you can do? Do you not have any personal integrity whatsoever? No pride? No self esteem? No shame? Did your parents teach you to lie, or is this something that's required to participate in anti-immigrant organizations? How can you expect to compete with illegal aliens for minimum wage jobs when you so freely lie? Is lying something at which you want your children to become proficient?
