Previous Natalee Holloway Threads
Firefighters drain a lake, Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in Oranjestad, Aruba searching for Alabama teenager, Natalee Holloway, who vanished nearly two months ago while vacationing in the island. Edwin Comemencia, a police spokesman, confirmed that the draining of the lake across from the Marriott Hotel was part of the investigation into Holloway's disappearance but would not comment further. The draining was expected to take up to 24 hours. (AP Photo/Pedro Famous Diaz)
Excellent!!
For your information that's the Arizona state flag. I'm not uncompassionate. It just seemed to me to be overkill and like one of you said I'll keep to threads I'm interested in and leave you alone. Just please don't say stuff like my flag being viet cong. It's UnAmerican to insult a state flag.
They used it on the DC sniper case also.
*Snicker*
I don't understand how we should ignore the death of anyone who's not of our own family.
Makes no sense whatsoever.
Yeah...Okay dude. Now pull down your shades and don't get involved in what we are doing here. It's our business.
Posting history is so telling.
Absurd.
Unbelievable. You have my sympathy whether you wnat it or not.
I often wonder if they don't know we can do that.
I believe it falls in the category of the "Manly Man" syndrome.
Believe there might be truth to the speculation that the wife was inebriated to the point she doesn't remember anything that happened that night (according to witnesses). Blackout mode. Embarrassing to say the least. Curious that she still wouldn't be making a lot of noise anyway. Bet the media will intensify their "search" for the missing husband.
They don't know. Believe me. It took me years to realize it! When I see someone who's new around here, I figure they don't know.
The anguish on Beths' face those first days got to me immediately. And, I am TIRED of the anti-Americanism that is growing in this hemisphere. I see that at work here. And when it rears its' arrogant face, we must rise up and slap it down IMMEDIATELY. I am thrilled that our media has chosen to grab hold of this case and run with it.Otherwise, the tur*s that run that shi*hole called Aruba would have buried this case long ago.
You go girl!
It is, in fact, my business because I'm the mother of two daughters and this case has taught me a great deal about how to better protect them.
"but you do a great job of keeping us straight."
I can attest to that.
And muchos grecias for the ping, TexKat.
It was an honest mistake. Have you ever seen a Viet Cong flag?
Yes, both the bride and groom were said to be so drunk that they could barely stand when they left the disco. Probably is a measure of embarrassment involved there, but still, you can't just walk away from the loss of your new spouse because it might be embarrassing.
I hope the media will pursue it, and in doing so, bring more attention to the whole cruise ship coverup of crime on board.
People should be aware of what they're getting into when they board those ships. Same as going to some little island "paradise" -- they should know what they're getting into.
