Firefighters drain a lake, Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in Oranjestad, Aruba searching for Alabama teenager, Natalee Holloway, who vanished nearly two months ago while vacationing in the island. Edwin Comemencia, a police spokesman, confirmed that the draining of the lake across from the Marriott Hotel was part of the investigation into Holloway's disappearance but would not comment further. I kinda took it that missing shoe was known about very early on (cops already knew it?) and Joran was out to find another one like it. Which makes the shoe situation worse for Joran as Joran knows where he lost that shoe, but was it too risky for him to go back and get it. Is this why they were seen back at the pond?

Greta asked why did he not just throw the single shoe away. Tito states that Joran did not think about that. All this is unconfirmed.

As I mentioned 500 times my wife was a child psychologist in Russia. She shocked my daughter when she said they have most children potty trained by 18 months. My granddaughter passed 2 3 months ago, and she is still not trained. Well, Nadya's grandson in Russia will be 2 in October, and they have him trained. It certainly surprised me.

Dave Holloway stated that he had searched that pond area 2 or 3 days after Natalee went missing. He was not suspicious of the pond area in reply to Greta but he searched in that area due to reports that Natalee and the 3 suspects went in that direction.

Dave stated that PVDS denied most questions that Dave posed to him on their encounter at KIA. Dave is going to be with Tim Miller tomorrow on the search. Dave is happy that the FBI is involved. Dave stated that Karen Janssen was very professional and shared a little info with him.

I have radio contact with (Puff) the magic dragon, just in case the disrupters get out of control. I have my position in the tall Yama over-looking our base-camp.
