Firefighters drain a lake, Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in Oranjestad, Aruba searching for Alabama teenager, Natalee Holloway, who vanished nearly two months ago while vacationing in the island. Edwin Comemencia, a police spokesman, confirmed that the draining of the lake across from the Marriott Hotel was part of the investigation into Holloway's disappearance but would not comment further. The draining was expected to take up to 24 hours. (AP Photo/Pedro Famous Diaz)
Of course it is. With the equipment & manpower, they have had time to drain the bloody Gulf of Mexico AND start on the Carribean Ocean!! FGS.
You are killing me today!!! :)
As of the last report that I heard an hour or so ago, no.
I'd rather they sent in 3 hard nosed FBI agents!! Dutch psychologists? Just doesn't do it for me. These are the very folks who think euthanasia is just fine and legalized heroin, and whatever the heck else one wants to get blasted on.!! Too loosey goosey for me.
LOL!!! It seems everything moves slower in Aruba, even the draining pumps!
ROTFLOL! Yes, I agree. It's taking an almost unbelievable amount of time. I am wondering whether they're draining it or recycling the pond water?
.. or maybe they ran out of Perrier bottles to fill????
Good to be back, and I knew the A Team would put down the opposition with grace. I figured CajunGirl would hit those tag teamers so hard, their ancestors would shake.
I have radio contact with (Puff) the magic dragon, just in case the disrupters get out of control. I have my position in the tall Yama over-looking our base-camp. Got my M-14(sniper rifle), couple packs of Kools, case of cold Coors Light and listening to the sounds of,"The Eve of Destruction" by Barry Macquire.
Please let the team know, I have strung some claymores in the trees, as a welcoming for the enemy combatants.
Well Bro, I gotta go on the magical mystery tour and then fade away with Rhonda Mae. NSNR
Eeeeeeeew, what a thought. Recycled pond water = a Dutch treat?
already???
NSNR I do like your true story. Hope it was fun. And maybe lust could turn into love.
I said as much this morning!! LOL!!
Yes, the forum was full of personal attacks earlier tonight. Much of it is anger that should be directed at a half dozen Aruban's. We already know the names and faces of at least four that killed or caused great harm. I suspect seeing these scum get away with it is hard for many of us to take. Natalee and her family have touched many of us and we can't stand what happened, and we want justice.
Does anyone know if it is true that under Aruban law it is consider a crime if two leave together and one does not return safely? An earlier post stated that.
Yo Bro!! go look in the mirror and you will see the trouble maker. NSNR
FLATUSCENTS???? ROFLMAO!!!
Thanks for your 2 cents, MonaMars. :) I agree with what you said.
I also believe that there are some FReepers that just love baiting people who disagree with them. Yes, the one with the less popular position can state their case and then drop it, but the ones who don't like that "less popular position" can also drop it instead of tossing around insults, and their code phrases and snide remarks.
That type of FReeper knows perfectly well, with each and every post they make to their chosen victim, that they are trying to "keep it going" in their childish attempts to put the victim on the defensive and eventually get the person banned. Their version of FRevenge, I suppose.
I know I'm not the only one who has witnessed these scenes on FR. IMO, allowing that sort of thing to happen demeans the integrity of the FR forums. If I want to witness bad behaviour, I could log on to DU.
Please, don't make me go there. Please......LOL
:) chena
You rascal!!
Good advice, antceecee. :)
