Previous Natalee Holloway Threads
Firefighters drain a lake, Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in Oranjestad, Aruba searching for Alabama teenager, Natalee Holloway, who vanished nearly two months ago while vacationing in the island. Edwin Comemencia, a police spokesman, confirmed that the draining of the lake across from the Marriott Hotel was part of the investigation into Holloway's disappearance but would not comment further. The draining was expected to take up to 24 hours. (AP Photo/Pedro Famous Diaz)

Trunk?
Looks like a piece of equipment to me, possibly a portable generator.

Isn't that a pump or some sort of equipment?

Diario has approached the local authorities to get a statement from them regarding the finding of the body. The police officers got nervous and wouldnt go into details. Why would the police officers be nervous?

Very telling picture. What's in that trunk? That is the water pumping equipment. That pix is when they were bringing in the equipment.

Why would the police officers be nervous? Dunno. Might have something to do with their "stellar" track record.
To: MAWG
That's what it looks. My fault.

Perhaps they have found what their chief didn't want to be found?

Probably the presiding judge in Jorans' case.

MSNBC is reporting that the pond is still 5 or 6 feet deep in the middle. Looks like the post over at RW may have been a bit pre-mature...if MSNBC is correct.

Reading the post from Greta's blog, she says she doesn't know of any connection between PVDS and Van der Stratten. I heard and posted yesterday about Van der Stratten having worked for PVDS in the early 90's.

Could be the body was recovered (if it was) not exactly in the middle - maybe a little off-center - more toward the edge. Maybe the outer parts were dry that night, but the middle was still wet, thus the conflicting reports of whether the area was wet/dry that night.

Ooooooooooo did Jossy jump the gun? If so, why?
I know that there was talk last night that MSNBC was set up pretty close to the site.

Onja, maybe you are on the wrong thread, the people here care about Natalee. If this were any other American male or female we would still care.
