Firefighters drain a lake, Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in Oranjestad, Aruba searching for Alabama teenager, Natalee Holloway, who vanished nearly two months ago while vacationing in the island. I agree, Froufrou! Natalee could still be alive on Venezuela. I've thought this from the beginning. PVDS said no body - no crime. Well, if Natalee has been taken off the island, the statement made by PVDS makes perfect sense. You're right about Croes. PVDS might have paid him, using the ATM withdrawal.

Pepper excuse me interjecting, but how many withdrawls did PVDS manke that evening/morning from the ATM? I wold say it is highly unusal for someone other than, a complusive gambler, someone out to score, are a drunk in a Gentleman's Club.
I sure wish we knew the total amount of the withdrawls. The Aruban authorities kept that under wraps like everything else in this case. NSNR
I read or heard that there were two withdrawals made that night. Do not know the amounts. Also, I believe Deepak washed his car that night. Makes you go "Hmmmmm".....
I have heard it dismissed by pros like Dr. Michael Baden and Mark Fuhrman. It didn't seem odd to ME when Beth did...

Has it been mentioned anywhere yet on any of the evening news that they have confirmation of the white pick-up truck owner? If I remember correctly, the guy that went missing (Sergio Gomez?) not long after the other guy was decapitated, drove a pick-up truck. The truck was recovered, but I don't think the owner was.
He did not show up at his job for two days Police is investigating the cause behind the dead of the man Rene van Heyningen whose body was found behind the Government cemetery at Sabana Basora. It was mrs. Y.C.H., 29 years old, who arrived home at Sabana Basora around 7:30 a.m. Saturday to find the house in a total mess and with signs of violence, including traces of blood. At observing the scene police said that the injured person could not be alive. The man that should have been at that house could not be found anywhere, and his grey pick-up truck was not there either. Immediately alarm was sounded. Police agents who arrived at the scene started a thorough search of the area and moments later discover the pick-up truck behind the Government cemetery in Sabana Basor. The beheaded body of Rene van Heyningen, who worked at the refinery, was found in the bushes not far from the vehicle. Rene van Heyningen was born on Janaury 12, 1973 and resided at van Lennepstraat 17 in San Nicolas. So far, no detention has taken place in this case. According to the police, the house owner was heard as a possible witness. We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
One+ months ago, I read they were detaining the girlfriend on charges of murder. She said she left him w/two men. This info is further back on Natalee's thread.
I asked a poster for this more info on this case because for an island that claims 'peace' - I thought this was an exceptional murder - more mob like. Knowing the mob appearance on the island - I asked for more info and that is when the info about the girlfriend came to light - being held for the murder. Slitting a throat and dumping a man's body is a mighty big task for one lone girlfriend, IMHO.
BTW, LE said immediately - it had nothing to do with the Natalee case - before they even investigated it.

I think she will wait until all hope is gone. They have dragged this out now w/the 'witnesses'. Are they props?
