I always understood the cars from the VDS to be blue and read. It wasn't until the CNN guy said the other day that there was a white jeep.
The K2 car was grey or silver.

The vehicle in question is a red Suzuki Samurai 2-Door with a white soft top and black bumpers... probably an early 90's model. I saw a the news clip when they towed it.
