Terri Schiavo's remains buried in Clearwater

Terri Schiavo's husband buried her cremated remains in a Clearwater cemetery Monday, inscribing on her bronze grave marker that ``I kept my promise.''

David Gibbs, an attorney for the woman's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, said inscribing the marker that way was a nasty political statement by Michael Schiavo, who held the service and burial Monday before telling her family.

``Obviously, that's a real shot and another unkind act toward a grieving mom and dad,'' Gibbs said.

After earlier announcing plans to bury his wife's ashes in their native Pennsylvania, Michael Schiavo instead interred them at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, near Tampa, his attorney, George Felos, said in a short news release Monday.

Interestingly, these accusations against MS did not begin until TEN YEARS after TS's collapse.

Caveat: I'm not accusing Michael of abuse by explaining this ... just informing you of the way things work in the real world.

I don't think you understand the dynamics of being a parent of a woman involved with an abuser.

When things are going well, the parents hope for the best, and for "the sake of their daughter," pretend things are "normal."

It is not easy to extract a daughter from the clutches of someone dangerous who has wormed his way into the family.

When the abuser begins to abuse again, the parents try to defend their daughter.

Back to Terri's situation...

Caring people told Terri to stay away from her apartment on the day she "collapsed." Perhaps we'd be discussing something else, here, if Terri had listened to them.

At any rate...
Michael himself
has certainly shown the world,
now,
what kind of a "man" he is.

no worries...but lugsoul wasnt making a very good impression upon me, and I am on the same page as you concerning Terri. As for the courts - I hate to sound cynical, but its obvious to me that the lawmakers/lawgivers in question already abdicated their control of the situation, so an actual legal prosecution to me would be just more of the same perfidy and lies.

And the crimes that were committed before our very eyes are enough to make me think I don't need to worry about what the courts will do or not do. Unless MS asks for mercy (which he shows signs of not doing ever), he will not recieve it. As for me, I beg for it all the time.....
