Bingo. Being someone who ended her marriage due to infidelity (his, not mine) nothing p*sses me off more than the selfish, boorish behavior some people display.
If you're not happy with your spouse, then end it. No need to drag someone you've promised to "love, honor and cherish" through a very public (in our case) compost pile.
It STILL burns me up to this day; and I've been happily re-married for a decade, now.
Bad manners are simply bad manners...but he's divorced a THIRD time now, so his problems go much deeper than simply "bad manners," LOL!

Hmm.
We will always have some level of friendship with those of the opposite sex.
We will not always have some level of physical relationship with the same.
In the end, physical cheating is worse, and it brings a host of consequences, physical, emotional, and mental.

When you become commited to a relationship with someone other than your spouse, to the detriment of your marriage.
And it need not be physical at all.

I have one married female friend who says that she doesn't care if her husband has a toss in the hay with someone - but an emotional relationship without the boinking would hurt her more.
I was surprised.
I have many married male friends. Their wives know me and have no problem with our friendship - at least I don't think they do. I guess I'm either frugly or trustworthy. I hope it's the latter.

If you don't have to lie to your spouse about what you are doing, then it's not cheating.
Whenever you feel guilt, or know your hidden actions will cause your partner pain - - you'd better examine your relationship and your commitment. I think the issue is about deception, lying, cheating....not necessarily just about sex.

My neighbor and close friend once came to me and told me that her husband wanted to sleep with me and that I could if I wanted to.
I was stunned.
My ex thought it was hilarious. That should have been my first clue that something was wrong with him.
