I have one married female friend who says that she doesn't care if her husband has a toss in the hay with someone - but an emotional relationship without the boinking would hurt her more.
I was surprised.
I have many married male friends. Their wives know me and have no problem with our friendship - at least I don't think they do. I guess I'm either frugly or trustworthy. I hope it's the latter.

My neighbor and close friend once came to me and told me that her husband wanted to sleep with me and that I could if I wanted to.

My ex thought it was hilarious. That should have been my first clue that something was wrong with him.
