This is news/activism. Terri Schindler Schiavo is still in the headlines. The death lobby shouldn't kid themselves. We are not going to forget...

Terri's parents requested that Cyril Wecht attend the autopsy as an observer. CYRIL WECHT WAS DENIED attendance at the autopsy. Why? Because they didn't want one of the best in the country watching them fudge the records to get the outcome the death lobby needs to continue to kill people.

I (not "they") was taking notes on what was being said at a live event as is my custom. I also noted as the ME prepared to present his report he stated all of the areas they looked at and that it appeared to be very thorough. You may not like facts intruding into your world. Too bad.

..starving her to death was so very wrong.
And many of us are suspect of the lack of help/attention given to her when it might have helped.
I have no wish to rehash this....it drained us here at FR....many hurt feelings over this.
Anyway, I'm off to visit my new granddaughter.
Cy Wecht is only one of the best televsion hucksters. Besides, he is too busy trying not to cover up his abuse of office and fraudulent conduct up here in Allegheny County.

What are you talking about? There was NEVER EVER any question that she wasn't treated to the absolute best care, in fact the nurses didn't like Michael because he was so dilligent on her care. Did you even hear the part which said she was BRAIN DEAD and BLIND. That was a new one for me. SHE WAS BLIND. BLIND. BLIND.

Ya, I have heard the, "this is going to hurt Republicans in the next election", crap. That the Democrats are going to use this against us. If it is such a good issue for the Democrats, why aren't they talking about it everyday?
Because it is not a good issue for Democrats, what are they going to do, run a commercial with a starving Terri in the background saying, "the Republicans wanted to feed this lady"?
You are right that many, and I mean many, were disturbed by what happened to Terri. They may have not all followed the case closely, but deep down they knew something was wrong with this picture.
