" Then if they really wanted her dead, they could have tried feeding her...no wait that would be inhumane?"

Someone just asked if she starved to death. Will we know how she died? Doctor said no. Doctor says he doesn't know the cause of death for sure. What??? He said earlier she died of DEHYDRATION!!!

Terri understood jokes. Three nurses were fired because they interacted with her. My neighbor worked at Palm Gardens and was Terri's nurse. My neighbor thought Jeb Bush was going to save Terri. Terri's former nurse can't believe they killed her.

Just remember to vote Tom Gallagher for Governor, not for Charlie Crist. This coverup is on Crist's plate too.

Well, did she die of "marked dehydration," or can the manner of death not be determined?

Can't be both.

"She didn't have enough BRAIN left to allow vision."

There was videotape of her following a balloon with her eyes. It's possible (but doubtful) that a blind person could follow an object moving through air.

Q "did she suffer any neglect or abuse?"

A "no"

interesting, and not in the way the detractors will say.

we know she was not accorded the ordinary care any other patient in her condition would have been given -- eg, no outings, no out of room, no stimulation in her room -- well, until the end, when flowers and a stuffed animal were needed for a picture of a peaceful death.

Once again, try to ignore those only here to gloat. Isn't there another weak person they can try to starve to death? I know if they looked really hard, they could find one.

Just remember, starving someone to death is wrong. Nothing will ever make it right.

May I ask a somewhat related question tot he topic at heand. Since Terri's death, we've all heard countless Dems countless times bloviate how they're going to make what the GOP congress and Jeb Bsh did a big issue in the elections. Am I the only one who thinks they are completely wrong in this? Even living in liberal la-la-land, I dont' get any sense that people are outraged at the GOP over this, other than Dean's usual constituency. Rather I sense that in the muddled middle on American politics, many, just like with the MJ trial, know that something was very wrong with how Terry was treated, and some good people tried, and failed to do the right thing. The "tin ear " of the Dems to the average American's perspective is staggering..

Integrity? You dare question her integrity when she did everything a human being could possibly do to save Terri's life? No hanging our heads in shame here, other than that people who do not value life actually exist.

It's not uncommon for a person to have one hemisphere of the brain removed. The other hemisphere will take over the functions of the other. However, if the cerebral cortex is damaged, it is permanent and irreversible. And I think they are saying that both hemispheres were half of their normal weight.

Devil's advocate comment:
On the Balloon issue, she may have been in a low vision state at this time and could see only movement.. this area deteriorated more since..

I withhold personal judgment as I'm not an expert.
