Total Deaths During the American Civil War: 623,026
The Confederacy tore this nation apart and got 623,026 of our ancestors killed so you could keep your slaves. That's neither right nor might.

The calling up of 70,000 "volunteers" by Lincoln tore this nation apart.
But then again, in all fairness, there was enough blame to go around on both sides.

actually, the number of DEAD was about ONE MILLION.
about 20% of those were "persons of colour" & "the poorest of the poor whites" who were SLAUGHTERED by the invading damnyankees just because they COULD.
