Peach, once again you have missed my point completely. And once again you have misrepresented my words. Quite frankly it's hard for me to tell whether it's intentional on your part or merely due to poor comprehension skills.
Enjoy your time in the WPPFF, it appears to be just the right niche for you.
Insulting me to prove your point....shows me that you have no point.
Sorry for intruding on the pity party thread. I'll retreat back to the wacky fringe fanatic section now.
"People" are just as bad as "they".
What will 'they' think?
'They' say....
That is all very well and good if you can accept 2 things.
One, that the state of Medical Arts has not advanced in 10 years.
Two, that it's ok for a couple of Judges to thumb their nose at the US Congress.
Yup.
I'm fully in support of "states rights", when the putatively state issue is being decided in a Constitutional manner.
However, I don't see how one state judge is able to contravene the direct orders of the U.S. Congress.
you keep repeating that but it isnt any truer now, than the first 20 times.
The fact is the US CONGRESS mandated a De Novo hearing in a Federal Court, and Greer, Whittemore, and the Other two judges basically said, "We dont feel like it so we aren't doing it"
******
For months on FR we been trying to get the judges nominate to be allowed to serve but we keep getting oposition from the left!
Some of the Supreme courts Judges are looking to international law instead of our orginal US Constitution!
I say original US Constitution for I think some how the left has alter our Constitution with double speak!
We hear a buzz words which have a universal meaning, I am saying Global Ethic/Bioethic has slip in their definition and when the bill is passed or a law some how we were duped!
The rules of engagement has been changed.....no one was told....and how did they get the authority to change our Constitution? Just listen more carefully, do look up things like Global Ethic/Bioethic, Humanist Manifesto there were many down the ages....
Secular humanism: What is it? ethical philosophy
Secular Humanism: Right for secular postmodern America?
... The Humanist Manifesto I completed in 1933 was signed by 34 influential people
including Anton J. ... President Clinton--exemplifies secular humanism
MANIFESTO FOR THE NEW MILLENNIUM
The International Academy of Humanism, a Specialist member of IHEU, has issued Humanist Manifesto 2000: A Call for a New Planetary Humanism. This is the second major document issued by the International Academy of Humanism, whose membership is made of distinguished philosophers, renowned intellectuals and Nobel prize winning scientists. Humanist Manifesto 2000 was drafted by Prof. Paul Kurtz, President of the Academy, and former co-President of IHEU.
Thanks!
No one is "blaming" you of anything....... and blaming you for what? Where are you coming from?
God said "NO" to all your millions of prayers.
What prayers. You have NOT a clue!
So get your bad self off our thread, because you are disrupting it..Leave us in peace.
You are acting and writing like 'less than an intelligent' woman. You are bringing discredit to this site with your foolish and misdirected comments to me! I suggest that you grow up relatively soon!
there's actually a link on the FR home page
That's the great things about FR (and sometimes not so great)- there is usually at least one person who is of your same mind. That's why I love the live threads so much. It's like chatting with your buddies.
As someone who has disagreed with you on several issues in the past, especially this one, I must ask you to reconsider. Take a bit of a hiatus until the Schiavo thing blows over, but don't pack it in.
The worst thing that could happen to FR is for it to become an "echo chamber". Many of your opinions are in the minority around here, but you are usually able to convey them eloquently and stick to your guns regardless. Most of the other FR "devil's advocates" cannot say the same. Plus, I've always enjoyed reading your posts on military and foreign affairs issues.
Anyhow, I notice I'm not the first to ask you to stay. At least consider what we have to say. If not, best of luck in the future.
I know some think caps are screaming which is not what I am doing I just don't want one to gloss by it!
People will say things what the court said, but never produce the link I do at least try to provide links!
Don't let the door hit ya in
the a$$.
You, good sir, are one of the prime reasons for my opus. Either folks like you go, or I go. I cannot abide your ilk's behavior. I have absorbed insults that, if made to my face at the Devil Dog Inn or Bill & Mary's, would've resulted in somebody leaving the place in a hearse--and Marines are not known for being eager to employ deadly force to resolve insults.
Yes that would be good. Clean off the dirt that you have been throwing around in large amounts to innocent posters like me!
I didn't realize that calling someone's argument style "eloquent" was considered an insult.
and Marines are not known for being eager to employ deadly force to resolve insults.
Marines are also not known for giving up on a mission because of temporary tensions. I'll ask you again. Take some time to cool off and come back. Overall, you're an asset to this forum.
