As someone who has disagreed with you on several issues in the past, especially this one, I must ask you to reconsider. Take a bit of a hiatus until the Schiavo thing blows over, but don't pack it in.
The worst thing that could happen to FR is for it to become an "echo chamber". Many of your opinions are in the minority around here, but you are usually able to convey them eloquently and stick to your guns regardless. Most of the other FR "devil's advocates" cannot say the same. Plus, I've always enjoyed reading your posts on military and foreign affairs issues.
Anyhow, I notice I'm not the first to ask you to stay. At least consider what we have to say. If not, best of luck in the future.
You, good sir, are one of the prime reasons for my opus. Either folks like you go, or I go. I cannot abide your ilk's behavior. I have absorbed insults that, if made to my face at the Devil Dog Inn or Bill & Mary's, would've resulted in somebody leaving the place in a hearse--and Marines are not known for being eager to employ deadly force to resolve insults.
