For all of those who have called me every imaginable name because I dare to suggest that there are some things worse than death...I don't wish you on you anything that poor woman goes through on a minute by minute basis. Because you know so much, and are so sure that you are right because you are all so freakin self-righteous...I'm leaving FreeRepublic because I no longer want to be a part of something that has become so twisted. Hannity is right, this website has been hijacked. It was a good run...but we'll find another place. Save your jabs, I won't be reading them. To those who have privately agreed with me, and there are many, thank you. I'm just worn out and frankly, don't even care what most here think.

I know what you're talking about, and even how you feel as I got it too at first. The behavior of some of Terri's advocates is truly beneath contempt.

But like Hairofthedog says, it isn't worth it.

What helps me is to back away and count. LOL

Seriously, if you start counting nicks, you'll see that it's just a small # of people who just make an inordinate amount of noise.

That's all it is.

There are a whole, whole lot more of us who see this thing rationally*, but just don't talk about it on the threads much or at all.

Know they're behind ya and just blow off the weirdos or the gullible followers.

*Including those of us who don't think Terri's should be pulled under these circumstances, or at all... just hate the ugliness and misinformation being thrown everywhere.

Hildy, I will ask you to please reconsider leaving. As I mentioned in my response to your Florida law blog post, I appreciate FACTS rather than overblown and often vicious rhetoric. I respect anyone who disagrees with me if they do so with facts, logic and at least a minimal amount of courtesy. There are all to many posters who do not deserve any respect, as they show no respect for others.
