Html commands are embedded within < >
One command starts the command, the /command turns it off.
- Italics- <EM> Text here </EM>
- Bold- <B> Text here </B>
- Underline- <U> Text here </U>

welcome...a tad belatedly..since you've chosen a color as part of your "nom de plume" you can even do your name in BIG BOLD SCARLET ITALIC letters if you choose..

"EM" ?, Just "I"
Either will work. I'm old school. I learned it as EM first!

Just a brief antiquarian point: I'm dating myself but
before home computers, high-tech typewriters, etc.,
when one typed a term or research paper (actually typed
anything!) one had to UNDERLINE book titles, things
emphasized, certain proper nouns, etc. The reason was that
the typed paper would go to a printer who COULD print in
italics, unlike the old typewriters. The underlining was
simply a way of alerting the printer that certain words
had to italicized.

Sure glad I'm old enough to have learned typing on a manual; moved up to an IBM Selectric; mastered an IBM Executive; learned basic procedures on an IBM (?) room size computer; outgrew my Apple 2e; went through three desk-tops; and here I sit on my trap shot. I mean think trap. I mean tank top; no, note top. Too bad I used up all my IQ learning antiquated machinery..
