A Challenge for the all "illegal Immigration" obsessed freepers.

Posted on 01/31/2005 8:31:00 PM PST by jveritas

In the last three months the obsessed minority of freepers but very vocal who hate President Bush have been bombarding us with every illegal immigration thread under the sun so they have their "BASH BUSH ORGY".

Since these freepers want to deport every illegal immigrant, here is the challenge for you:

Pick up your phone and report to the INS about an illegal immigrant and his employer. I am sure you know at least one illegal immigrant who works in a convenient store, on a gas station, clean the garbage in your office, clean the bathroom at your work place... And I am sure you know one of these employers who hire illegal immigrants. Go ahead Macho Guys, do your duty and report them to the INS. Let us see how courageous you are and let us see your action following your rhetoric.

Go ahead, ping each other and show us your heroism.

Madame, I've been reading your posts and would be honored to accept that invitation. I'm trying to get fired so I might be able to help out with Operation Minuteman this April, but that's not looking up (the one time I want to be unemployed occurs when an employer wants to keep me - irony on irony).

Regardless, the environmental damage wrought by the invasion alone should have the Democrats raising blue hell, but their potential voters are doing it so they get a "bye" while you and your neighbors have your beautiful landscape trampled and polluted. It's not right at all.

I'm against anything "illegal"...Never saw a hate thread like this where one assumed that everyone who wanted illegal immigration stopped and or controlled was automatically a mexican hating POS ? Last I looked these more than one nationality crossing our southern, northern and coastal regions....illegally and legally.

Stop illegal immigration....encourage legal immigration.......period !

We either get togeather in 05 or lose a lot of seats in congress in 06.....

This thread doesn't invite debate on the issue....just divisional mudslinging and name calling.....

My question to you is this. What is it that the US has that Mexico doesn't that makes it such a desireable place to be ? Contrary to what some say the streets are not paved with gold here. Is it the opportunities ? Why don't those same opportunities exist in Mexico ? Maybe because a corrupt system of government that stifles individual initiative. Maybe if we did close the border and let Mexico come to boil in a revolution they would replace the system they have with one that would give them the same opportunities that exist in El Norte. Our present liberal immigration policy only serves to continue the legacy of greed and corruption for those at the top in Mexico

Thanks for the ping, but I don't find anything of value in this charcter's vanity threads. I don't read them, as her M.O. consists of mostly childish name calling, liberal hyperbole, and slander. I've got better things to do. (like paperwork...ugh)

But since I'm posting to you, I'll give you these links, in case you don't have these stories on file.

Thanks, I'll try to make it.

We seem to be plagued by "playground politics" forever no matter how long we linger. I sincerely feel we're charged with a duty to serve as a better example and find that usually works in real life. Only on FR do I find people accusing me of the most heinous things for trying to stand up for right.

I pray for them but I sure don't worry about them.

I reported some illegals, not to the INS, but to the police. They broke into my home. Do you have any idea how it feels for a woman to walk into her home, alone, and find two man with a loaded gun? Because of the Hispanic gangs, I can't feel safe in the town where I was born and lived for 49 years. The town where my parents and grandparents are buried.

This is not a game to me. If you want illegal immigration don't read threads that are critical and don't make fun of those of us who don't.

I thought we already had a migrant worker program?

We do. About 30,000 H-2A visas are granted for farm work. 95% of these visas are issued to Mexicans. There are about 2.7 million farm workers. Over half of them are in the country illegally.

Mexicans can also enter legally through the H-1B visa. H-1B Frequently Asked Questions Applications for this year were accepted in Oct of last year. Within 24 hours all 65,000 slots were filled.

I was wondering the Chinese and Asians who were hired to contruct the RR tracks of America. Were they migrant workers? Or illegal immigrants? Did they go home after the work was done? Curious.

Until the late 1800's there were no immigration laws. So I can't see how they could be necessarily classified as illegal or migrant workers. Some stayed, many returned to China on their own, many were forced back. I couldn't give you figures with out research. The Chinese were the subject of our first immigration laws. Lots of people didn't want them here The isolationist sentiment of the late 1800s said the Chinese wouldn't assimilate and were of low moral fiber...they smoke opium doncha know.

The People of the United States made a mistake. People do that. In 1882 the Chinese Exclusion Act was passed. The name of the act says it all.

The thus the Land of the Free spiraled down it's protectionist way followed by more immigration laws designed to exclude the ethnic of the day, followed by Smoot-Hawley, followed by Margaret Sanger, followed by Depression and Holocaust. Fortress America here we come!

But I digress. Thanks for asking some great questions.

Can we doubt that only a Divine Providence placed this land, this island of freedom, here as a refuge for all those people in the world who yearn to breathe free. Reagan's 1980 acceptance speech.

Thanks God for the 1st amendment. I am sure if you Buchananites are in charge, there will no first amendment. But you are not in charge and you will never be, because you are just a tiny insignificant noisy minority.

Why keep dragging in Buchanan? I voted for President Bush twice, like 90% of the people on this thread. If you were actually an American you'd know that the 1st amendment gives us the right to criticize our leaders when we feel they are dropping the ball.

But then, you ain't.

What I don't understand, what apparently is happening..is that someone who isn't here legally who gets charged and goes to court is NOT referred to the ICE for further action.

I can go to the local General District Court and there are plenty of "driving without license" charges. Not "driving on suspended" or anything that indicates that they once had a licnese, but a charge that indicates they never had one.

Virgina, in case you didn't know, has a law making it so that one must prove legal presence to get a license.

So it would stand to reason that many of those going to court for driving without a license may not be here legally..

"Well it take time to become a citizen."

Well it also take legal procedure to do it right.
