That was clear from the passage that was intially posted. The Union forces captured several several "abandoned" forts in west Texas. But then again, are they really "abandoned" when you leave your sick and wounded behind? Or have the soldiers been abandoned?

An excellent point. I have made similar observations to the owners. If you can rein in your drunkards and cheap shot artists, maybe it can get back to that level.

He exposed information about himself and had several of his own hot-headed post pulled. He then complained he was being cyber-stalked - a rouse he has tried before. When I received an inquiry from Jim Robinson, I explained the bogus nature of the complaint. He said that he was "unaware of the posting history" and that he would take a look at the thread. Those FReepmails were in the first week of February.

No, here is the mechanism. The mods do the banning. If you impetrate a banning from the mods, they still do the banning, but your representations effect the ban.

Uh, not correct. Nolu chan was banned on February 8th, bushpilot about two days later. I don't know when CSSFlorida was banned, or why. Another poster got a time-out sometime later -- again, you and Espinola were around and fired red flares over something he wrote on the subject of retaliation in time of war and the possible sequelae of the notorious Dahlgren Raid of 1864. You two tried to get that other poster banned, didn't you?
Don't play cute with us. We know better -- you can't brag about getting people run off in Post 123, and then claim you're innocent and it's all a canard in Post 140.

It's truly moved beyond the point of reason. He's convinced himself that his stalker posts didn't get pulled but rather that it was something of my own revelation! And of course he didn't disappear completely from this forum from 1/26/05 to 2/21/05...it was all for "business" and in reality he was posting here all along even though there's absolutely no record of it! And sure, there was no censure of his stalker tactics cause that "cease and desist" note he got from the management wasn't really meant for him! I suppose by this time next week he'll be attributing the faked court rulings and faked west texas battles to us as well...no wait. He already IS attributing the west texas battle he faked to us!
The flip side is a real (winner), Tommy's failed attempt at barnyard hip hop, 'Lost cause it, lost cause it'. Pitiful.

Have you noticed that how when their habitually sporadic henchman ftD isn't around, their ranks on these threads dwindle to two? Heck, the tu quoque parrot doesn't even seem to be engaged on this thread anymore! In the meantime there are what - 4, 5, maybe 6 on our side who have posted here today? And yet they're the ones talking about supposed "KIAs" and our dwindling ranks. There's truly a Baghdad Bob element to the remaining members of the Wlat Brigade these days.
Precisely. The 'crapper's attempt to get me banned backfired! I got no warnings, suspension, or ban. That's a fact. And I had time to alert all of the active sane posters of the increased scutiny on the thread. I believe the phrase I used in those Freepmails was, "give them enough rope, and they'll hang themselves."
And you guys did. You have no one to blame but yourselves, and especially the 'crapper, for bringing the increased scuntiny to the thread. I take no credit for getting anyone banned; I simply note that, in defending myself from the 'crapper's lies, the content of the neo-reb posts evidently became an issue. Why, exactly, each of those posters were bounced, I don't know. I know what the neo-reb line is - it wasn't their fault ... the unionists got them ... they were ticked ... the bannings were absurd. But that a couple of them were totally purged from the system must be some insight as to the severity of their offenses. And that they were in the madst of justifying assassination and posting comments about "baboon emancipators" and other epithets, should give you pause.
Believe me, if I were a moderator or had some inordinate pull with them, you wouldn't be here to recieve this post.
