The five walked. Jessica came later in the ATV when Hesebeck called for help saying that someone had been shot.
You never read the report did you.

To: REDWOOD99 I am not blaming the victims, I wish Wisconsin had the death penalty, because Vang deserves it, I just like to look for solutions for future use encase people run into a similar situation again... 32 posted on 11/26/2004 5:19:12 PM PST by Credo Deus [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 29 | View Replies | Report Abuse ] To: Credo Deus Then starting your first post with something other than "They should have..." would be advisable. For the future. 33 posted on 11/26/2004 5:20:54 PM PST by REDWOOD99

You are blaming the victims for the actions of a nutcase. No reasonable person would do that. To follow your logic, we need to call the police at every altercation or perceived threat of altercation. That may work in your fantasy world, but not in reality. The truth of the matter is that the hunters did nothing wrong or even out of the ordinary. They were killed by a madman. It was not their fault. Your efforts to place blame on them, IMHO, are strictly for the purposes of creating a stir in this forum. Your use of phrases like "posse" and "piehole" in referring to the victims from "Cheeseland" can also be interpreted as such. I only hope that faced with the same set of circumstances, you can outrun the bullets.

So now you are calling them bastards? Jessica deserved to die because she heard that someone had been shot and went to help?
The question has been answered. You have no shame.

"see we really don't know what happened we have a police report from one side of the incident, I wish we had video..."
Exactly! And, you are supporting this side (ie, Vang's) of the incident. Yet, in the statement above you state that Vang's report of what happened is not enough. So, everything you have stated in this thread is based on insufficient and one-sided evidence. Still you support Vang's actions indirectly by stating ad nauseam that Vang is the victim.
Don't expect the other side to come out and support your already frail arguments.
Boya, you're digging yourself into a deeper and deeper hole.

No, it's called defending the memory and character of the victims of this senseless murder! It has something to do with Honor and Loyalty! Get it??!

CD, the police will be the FIRST to tell you that their job is to prevent crime,
but they can't be everywhere at the same time.
The basic premise of the conservative viewpoint is natural law and personal responsibility.
IOW, we are on our own until something happens and we need to call the police.
The police would not have responded in time to this.
The perp had a large capacity mag and a semi-auto weapon. He was gunning for someone, IMHO.

Open and vigorous discussion of issues and events is essential in a free society, We can discuss and argue all night, that is exactly why this board was founded. But we have certain standards of belief.

"Now you tell me just how in the he!! that was HER FAULT!"
In the mind of a delusional it was her fault for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. She was part of the "posse," you see. (/sarcasm)
Give Vang the rope! Give it to him NOW!
