"He will draw media attention to the race"

I don't think Keyes can win this race, not enough time to do it.

Before Keyes was invited in, this race was one that Obama would win because there was no one running against him...no national coverage because it wasn't newsworthy.

Now, it's going to get national coverage, and Obama will come off as defeating the GOP's "hired gun", an outsider sent in by the National Party against a native son.

This race will become Obama's launch into the VP slot in 2008.

They said the same thing in Oklahoma about Dr. Tom Coburn -- not enough time to win his primary. He won with 61% of the vote because the Oklahoma grassroots got out and worked and worked to make sure that he won against the establishment candidate.

We were much more energized and the results showed.

Time for Illinois Grassroots to kick in high gear and spread the word.

Exactly so and even though Obama wasn't born in Ill.,he's lived there for at least a decade and is a prof at U of C and a state senator.

Obama is NOT part of Jesse Jackson's mafia, either. So goodbye to that "taint".

Oberweiss should have been given the slot.He came in second,in the GOP primary,is Conservative, and wouldn't have given as much fuel to the damned Dems.

Except for that whole Convention thingEy where pundits praised him for being "articulate".

Conservatives have complained for the last four years of obstructionism from the left. Now we have a chance to break the 60 vote stranglehold and get judges appointed.

I suggest anyone who's interested in the future welfare of this country suck it up and support this man by any means possible. I know I will.

1) Jack Ryan and his ex-wife. 2) The convention speech.

That's called national coverage.

This race will become Obama's launch into the VP slot in 2008.

Obama was already on his way to a national ticket. Why are you pretending otherwise?
