According to Harvey Levin ("Celebrity Justice") from sources connected with both sides in Eagle, Colorado:
1) Kobe accepts a plea bargain for a non-sex crime misdemeanor such as Third-Degree assault. (misdemeanor, Kobe might get probation, wouldn't have to register as sex offender).
2) Kobe settles the civil case. Pays a financial settlement. Gives letter of apology saying, "that even though Kobe Bryant belived that he was doing nothing wrong, that she felt she had been assaulted in the hotel room, and for that he was sorry."
No plea deals struck, but parties talking about it.

On Kobe's penile swab, there was Bryant's DNA and her DNA, but not Mr. X's; if she had had unprotected sex before being with Kobe, Mr. X's DNA would have been on Kobe's swab.
There is absolutely NO testimony to that fact; nor has it been alluded to in the courtroom.

Yeah I have notice on recent thread the worst idiot of the automatic guilty group has not been around recently. Do you remember the idiot who say he would cheerfully serve 10 or 20 years in prison unjustly so woman would not be afraid to bring charges?
Damnnit -- I can't find the article I read earlier which said there are TWO witnesses who will testify and one includes Shaq. These people cannot get their stories straight but I think Lin Wood and Clune are trying to persuade her to file a civil suit where his past sins will also come to the forefront.

you've been accused of being against the Bryant guy from the first, but in acutality, those supporting him have been defending him from day one, before any evidence, theories,dna, dirty undies, medical records etc were revealed....

If the Prosecutor enters into a plea arrangement reducing the charge to a misdemeanor, then its case probably does suck.

Exactly how is it that one puts on a pair of underwear and manages to transfer semen, MOTILE sperm, and blood in perfectly round circles?

So rather than plea to a misdemeanor non sex crime you think Mr. Bryant should:
1. Spend $100,000s more on legal fees?
2. Risk the small chance some out of control jury would believe the tripe the prosecution is offerring up?
3. Let this drag on months more.
Sorry and I am stuborn enough I like to think I would no settle. But a good lawyer would tell you, me or Mr. Bryant to settle under these circumstances if the settlement. This has nothing to do with guilty. It has everything to do with making the best of a bad situation.
