Does anyone have a contact involved in detecting and defusing IEDs in Iraq?

I think I might have an idea...

If I had an idea on working with the IEDs in Iraq, I would
go to Dr. Bill Wattenberg at KGO radio, he is active in such things and works still with the gov on clearing mine fields.

He will at least be able to help get the info to the best person.

He can be emailed at his homepage link at:

He is not a medical doctor, but is a nuclear psychist.

"detecting and defusing IEDs in Iraq?"

There's a FReeper in Iraq working as a contractor who's been in contact with me on story ideas for a possible script. He's saying that the first IED's were explosives stuffed into animal corpses (big dogs, goats etc) and when they ran low on those, other items. I'm hearing that any potential IED is being just "blown in place" Nobody is trying to "defuse" anything.
