In public statements, the Palm Beach County state attorney's office appears to be soliciting public opinion about the current investigation. Perhaps you'd like to add your opinion to the "torrent" of hundreds of emails that State Attorney Barry Krischer and his spokesperson have received.

While Black speaks of the 8 pills a day of prescribed pills there is no mention of the pills provided by the maid. If the maid provided NO pills why would Rush pay her hush money?

Same here. I would think if Rush wanted to "use" us, he would have done it WAAAAAYYY before now.

Hate To rain on the parade here. But Rush is gonna get convicted and all the emails and antics in Christendom isn't going to change that.

Doesn't matter if Barry Krischer is the first Cousin of Osama Bin Laden. If he has the evidence he has the evidence. Unless Rush can come up with an OJ like jury that totally that totally ignores the evidence then Rush will be convicted of multile counts of Doctor shopping.

How do I know this?...Roy Black ( despite his denials) is angling for a plea bargain. There is an old maxim in legal defense. If you can argue the evidence, then argue the evidence if not, then argue the process. If you can't argue the process then challenge the intentions of the prosecution. I notice that Roy isn't challenging the evidence merely access to it. Now the prosecutors know what is in Rushes medical records. The question now is can they use it in court. If they can then Rush is totally cooked. Why?...Because his medical records don't square up with his stories. That's why Black is focused on keeping Rushes medical records sequestered. If he loses that battle then any hope he has of winning a trial is virtually nil.

Krischer knows this. That is why he is taking a hard line on the single count plea to a third degree felony.

In sum?...Unless Rush can make his medical records disappear then he is cooked. Failing to make them disappear sequestration is the only viable alternative. It is a battle that I don't think he will win. Otherwise every criminal in America will site his " right to privacy" inorder to avoid prosecution. THis is particularly ironic position for Rush to be in because he has often touted Judge Borks position that the Right To Privacy doesn't exist.

But I'm not here to pile on Rush, I want to see him vindicated. However, to do that he's got to clean his stable of a lot of manure, including a number of people perhaps he used to consider friends.
