Oy vey. Savage is such an idiot. At least he gives reasons for what he believes. I see that you are incapable of doing so.
To: tkathy
He is unlistenable. His ratings say otherwise.
To: Poohbah
The statement that someone else made ages ago was
The full text of the Declaration is right there in the U.S. Code
It is there. I have showed it to you. I have posted the links. I even tried to help you by giving you the dictionary explanation of the listing.
To: evad
I always considered him a part of the far right. So now you're far right if you think America's borders should be defended.

Also, if you search the United States Code from the House or Representatives page, you also get a copy of the Declaration in the code. No, what you get is a link to a copy of the Declaration that they have on their server. The actual Decalration is not in the actual Code.
Start with Title 1, Section 1 and go all the way to Title 50, Subchapter 7 and find the Declaration. You won't, because it is not in the Code.
To: hedgetrimmer
I didn't see anyone citing this as law. This statement however is true, you can see it is in the US code and I have provided the link. No it's not in the Code and all you have provided is a link to a copy they have on the site.

If we could get illegal aliens to turn each other inAn alternative would be to get them to turn in businesspeople who hire them. Pay them a bounty of $20,000, with the money coming from the businessperson who hired them. When it costs $20,000 a day to hire an illegal, businesspeople will stop hiring them. And if they don't get hired, the illegals will go home.
Except that we have to do something about welfare, too. Can we do something about welfare, Mr. President?
To: gunnrmike
I can appreciate that. Thank you for your service to our country Mike. But how do you feel about the takeover?

The illegals had the busride from LA to DC this summer, financed mostly by the AFL-CIO. Border Agents stopped the bus in Texas and asked for greencards. Two Congressman told them it was racial profiling and they could just turn around and get off. How do you like that?

In 1878 Congress enacted a revised version of the United States Code that included a new first section entitled "The Organic Laws of the United States."
The organic laws of the United States are the country's foundational laws. The four organic laws of the United States are the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, the Constitution, and the Northwest Ordinance of 1787.

The Organic Laws are based on the 2000 edition (January 2, 2001) of the Code.

Bush and Congress should be deluged with letters and petitions. I will be posting mine at petitiononline this week. There is a petition up there already, but I think mine is worded better, shorter, and more specific. Sign the other one now too, and sign mine later.
Unless the American people rise up in outrage over this proposal we only have ourselves to blame for the politicians complacent and smug attitude on this subject. Write Bush, write your representatives. E-Mailing and phone calls are not as effective as writing a letter - its a more "in your face statement." But backing it up with e-mails and phone calls is good.
Many of us have done that for a lonnnnnnng time, has not worked. Then last month Ridge comes out and says I do not care how many of you complain etc this WILL happen and guess what Zulu he was right
So yes the desperate measure a few weeks ago with the grassroots campain of writing in Tancredo and now changing parties

Okay people argue if you will but you need to take a look at this list of jobs/companies that have left America. I'm curious to know how many of these companies Bush/Cheney and yes other politicians are connected with. How many of these companies are under investigation? They abandoned America, but no let's not abandon our President. Our country is turning to crap. But of course we must still vote for Bush. Justpiper,
Respectively, you are coming off as an uninformed lib with that view. Governor Blago raised the fees for the trucking industry in Illinois as an example and Star Trucking announced they would leave the state because they could not compete with other trucking industries from other states with the higher fees in place. Every Dem in Illinois uses your same argument and points fingers at Star Trucking rather than at the governor for that move. Another example, Caterpillar has been creating new plants in Georgia rather than Illinois because Illinois is not a 'right to work' state which causes union problems with new hires.
This goes for international business too. When our American corporations are competing against foreign business, high fees and liberal laws prevent some of these companies from being competitive with imports (Walmart stock is a perfect example of that competition). Americans want it all - cheap products and great wages. However, that is an economic idea that only exists in in certain areas of commerce. We have to give in one way or another. NAFTA allows these companies to use foreign work at a lower wage to create competitive prices against nations that use slave labor. It is a loss of jobs but this allows profit to be used for other jobs such as research, development, and infrastructure, for example.
Please reconsider your thinking on this subject matter.
