MEE-OWCH! Could a catfight be brewing between "Saturday Night Live" newscaster Tina Fey and right-wing pundit Ann Coulter?

While presenting Al Franken with his comedy trophy at yesterday's New York Magazine Awards, Fey lauded the liberal author of "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right" for skewering the likes of Coulter and Bill O'Reilly, adding: "Have you ever seen Ann Coulter in person? It's like seeing a rat. It's like, ewwww!"

Of course I did. I don't post w/o reading the article.

Then I'm not really sure what the point is that you are trying to make. Part of Ann's enormous popularity is based on her looks. What of it? Does this pass for insight in your world? If so, you may want to look into a new profession. You aren't telling us anything we don't know.

Physically, Coulter isn't really my cup of tea either. I respect her because she's got big ones. If she didn't, the left's attempts to dismiss her as a dumb blond would stick. And I'm talking about the "intellectual left" now, not the airheads in "hollywood." They're talking about her too. If a few hundred thousand more Americans know the truth about Joe McCarthy because she employs blond hair and long legs as stage props, how is that a bad thing?

No shoes are not too small. I dont' know how it happens but it does. I have never run a marathon but jogged a lot. I have lost two toenails and my brother in law who used to do races all the time and ran every day has lost several. It just happens. Perhaps too much pressure when the foot goes down. Anyway, it does happen for sure.

That's what the left does to formidible opponents. They pick a trait and use it to trivialize their opinions. That's why George W. Bush could graduate from Harvard Business school and still be an idiot, or his father could leap from a burning plane into the Pacific Ocean and still be a wimp. Truth be told, Ann's only about an 8 phsically. It's her brain that we find sexy. It's the left that has cast her as a sexpot airhead.

BTW, Al Frankin employed 7 ghost writers on "Lying Liars."

Seriously, did you read the book? Sure, she lets her emotions influence her opinions. But she makes some very intelligent and original points.

I do. If you know of such a double-bagger let me know. We can do an experiment.

Remember that one of the left's constituencies is feminists. Also remember that the feminist movement was created to give unattractive women access to the mainstream (one of Limbaugh's undeniable truths of life, but I don't remember which number) so it's much more likely the uglo-Americans will be leftists.

Methinks you were looking for a reason to share your opinion that Ann Coulter isn't very attractive. You are welcome to that opinion. I don't dream about her at night, but I never mind when her picture pops up. I do read her books.

Peggy Noonan is a little old for me, but I find her attractive too. Again, it's her mind that I find sexy. When I was in high school, I chased after the cheerleaders, but I always had a thing for smart teachers. Too bad so many of them were liberals.

Tina Fey is fromt he school of comedy that teaches if you scream enough, and do it very quickly and hoep that people will laugh, the LAUGH sign will go on and the live audience will laugh like trained chimps.

She is so ponderous.

Coulter is not everybody's cup of tea; she does come on rather strong but at least she comes by it honestly. There's a lot for all of us to be angry about and Ann conveys that, IMO, rather brilliantly and in a manner which everyone can understand. Bottom line: she's alive, thank

Trust me and a lot of other intelligent conservatives. She makes some very interesting points. She is also "LOL" funny at times. Your opinion is unfounded (you didn't read the book). It would be worth reading if she was a dead ringer for Barbra Streisand. But then, I read "the pack." I can't get enough of it. You on the other hand seem only interested in letting us know that you'd be delighted to kick Ann out of bed. Congradulations for that.

My recent past favorites are Dennis Miller (saw him live last month - he was great!), Norm MacDonald (loved seeing him on The View ... that is, before they disappeared him at the break), Colin Quinn, and Phil Hartman.

One of the MAJOR complaints I have with SNL is that not only are the skits mostly unfunny, but they go way, WAY too long. Almost every sketch jumps the shark. It's just painful.
