Actual grace prompts a man to faith, contrition, hope, love, and repentance, which when the man uses what is given him here by God with additional graces with follow and cooperate with his freely willed actions, allows him to request Baptism and come to the new life in Christ. It is then at Baptism that (normally), the man becomes sanctified and his sins are forgiven, and he fully aquires faith, hope, and love by infusion of these virtues into his soul by working of the Holy Spirit.

The problem here is that you are still atrributing to a Spritually Dead man, actions of Spiritual Good.

The Bible, however, makes it clear that while he is still Spiritually Dead, a man responds to Grace with spiritual hatred, not Spiritual Good.

John 3:19-21 -- And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

So, let's agree on the Biblical description of the Spiritually Dead:

• While a man remains Spiritually Dead, all his humanely-benevolent Works considered by God to be Unclean Fithiness (Isaiah 64:6)
• While a man remains Spiritually Dead, he never freely wills the action of Spiritual Good. (Jeremiah 13:23)
• While a man remains Spiritually Dead, his heart is only and always set upon the doing of evil. (Ecclesiastes 8:11)
• While a man remains Spiritually Dead, he is spiritually insane at heart (Ecclesiastes 9:3)
• While a man remains Spiritually Dead, he always despises the light of Grace. (John 3:19)
• While a man remains Spiritually Dead, he always rejects the ministrations of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 7:51)

It's not obvious to me (said without contentiousness, just honesty). I see no reason to distinguish between "Abraham's Bosom" and "Paradise" and "the Third Heaven"; I tend to believe that these are all the same location (and Lazarus had already entered "Abraham's Bosom" while Jesus was incarnate, whereas the Rich Man had already entered Hell). Since Jesus is, from an Eternal prespective, the Lamb slain before the Foundation of the World, I see no reason that the Old Testament saints would not receive all the benefits of the Eternally-ordained Atonement upon their passage from this mortal coil.

I would say that neither the current "heaven" nor the current "hell" is the ultimate destination of either Elect or Reprobate, as Revelation tells us that at the Final Judgment the Elect will enter "the New Heaven and the New Earth", whereas the Reprobate in hell will be delivered into "the Lake of Fire"; so both "heaven" and "hell" today seem to be locations whose own existence will terminate at the same time as "this present world" with the Final Judgment, their inhabitants at that time being delivered into "the New Heaven and the New Earth" and "the Lake of Fire" respectively.

But, as I said before, the words of Jesus make it clear to me that Lazarus had already entered Abraham's Bosom, whereas the Rich Man had already entered Hell.
