I've had a "few" posts pulled, and I know why they were pulled. I sure as heck didn't need an explanation from JimRob nor the Mods.

Check any thread on which moderation is discussed (including this one), and you'll find numerous posts from people expressing bewilderment as to why a particular post (or poster) might have been pulled. Sometimes the reason is not entirely clear, and other times people will presume it's because, for example, they were disagreeing with the "party line" -- unless they're informed that it was actually because they called someone a m*****f*****. And so on.

FR has voluntary contributions, voluntary posts, voluntary thread perusal. If you want no part of being nice to Jim and instead choose to support a man that says Jim is not a good man, that he lies and that he is not an honorable man, that is your choice.

Seems funny, you have no problem with all the bad comments about Jim, but you have a problem that no one is supporting Badjoe who made those comments about Jim.

I dont think anyone would find fault with per se, but since we have leftist scum always looking to use this site for attention-getting (witness the Fresno Human Relations or whatever the hell it is commission, for example) it was probably pulled because some freak somewhere may try and make us all happy then say it was our fault LOL

I've always tried to stay out of these things (not always successfully). I find it silly. Totally, completely ridiculous.

Some people just need to lighten up and stop worrying about who's King or Queen of Free Republic, fercryinoutloud.

When someone pours heart and soul into FR like Joe did..........and he did.............then gets all upset and stomps off, I question the maturity and the base motivations of the individual. I'm funny that way.

Note to Joe, since you're undoubtedly reading this thread: You're certainly not a bad guy, by any means, and you DID do a lot for FR, that's a fact..........but trumpeting what you did for the Forum as a context for attacking it after the fact.............really bizarre, my friend.

Everyone who does a good thing will get bashed. Recall that even Mother Teresa had to endure such namecalling as Christopher Hitchens' "Corrupt Albanian dwarf" diatribe.

A few vocal whiners and detractors of course stand out in a crowd. Most FReepers (current and former) will not act like Badjoe and his ilk. We have manners, you know.
