Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

If I could use words
Like falling leaves
What a bonfire
My poems would make!

Mornin' Amy and Company.
"Woof" backatcha.
Here's a contribution to the potpourri side of the ledger...
After the honeymoon
A young couple got married and went on their honeymoon. When they got
back, the bride immediately called her mother.
"Well," said her mother, "so how was the honeymoon?"
"Oh, mama," she replied, "The honeymoon was wonderful! So romantic..."
Suddenly she burst out crying. "But, mama, as soon as we returned, Sam
started using the most horrible language - - things I'd never heard
before! ... I mean, all these awful 4-letter words! You've got to
come
take me home, ... PLEASE MAMA!"
"Sarah, Sarah," her mother said, "Calm down! You need to stay with
your
husband and work this out. Now, tell me, what could be so awful?
"Please don't make me tell you, mama," wept the daughter, "They're just
too awful! COME GET ME, PLEASE!!"
"Darling, baby, you must tell me what has you so upset. Tell your
mother
these horrible 4-letter words!"
Still sobbing, the bride said, "Oh, Mama..., he used words like: dust,
wash, iron, cook..."
"I'll pick you up in twenty minutes," said the mother.

Praised be Adonai our God, Ruler of the universe, who makes light and creates darkness, who ordains peace and fashions all things. With compassion God gives light to the earth and all who dwell there; with goodness God renews the work of creation continually, day by day. How manifold are Your works, Adonai; in wisdom You have made them all; the earth is full of Your creations. Let all bless You, Adonai our God, for the excellence of Your handiwork, and for the glowing stars that You have made: let them glorify You for ever. Blessed is Adonai,
the Maker of light.
