We are all glad that you were able to join us in the afternoon's activities, Valerie.
Good shooting there.
Next time, someone will have to snap your picture blowing away the cheap sodas...

*L* I like being on my side of the camera.

It was sure fun to shoot that .22 rifle with the scope when I couldn't miss.... especially after all the missing I did with my own .38 special.
To: ValerieUSA
NO ONE was hitting anything with your "up close and personal" weapon. ;-)

Don't think it's just AK that's got all their roads under construction - it's nationwide!
Morning cheers, Carpet Bomber - and yes, I'm a monthly donor... ;-)

No, it isn't just Arkansas, but this past year the construction on I-40 alone has consistently caused up to 2-hour delays in the areas where it is intensive. In the Conway area, it has gotten so bad that you can't even go around it by another route because so many people are trying to. Wrecks abound and the ones involving fatalities or flight for life rescues shut down the highway completely for hours. With all the traveling I have to do with my job, it is a real nightmare. On all points northwest of here, it is impossible to avoid the Conway area. When some mornings I have to get up at 2 am to get on the road in time to get to work, the last thing I am able to cope with on the return trip (especially if I am going to have a repeat the next day) is 1-2 hour delays. It isn't bad in the pre-dawn hours, but the rest of the time, it is horrible.

Wow... so far seven drownings on Lake Travis this year. Some people will suggest a Darwin Award, for cleansing the Gene Pool, but not me.
I have been won over by the creationists, Darwin was wrong.
This is a result of Inteligent Design.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has all the hard drives from ENRON. They are putting all of it up today on their website, including all the personal E-mail of everyone who was working there. Gonna be a lot of red faces and divorces when everyone finishes searching their friends, lovers and spouses E-Mail.

Unfortunately no burgers. Garrett had decided to get creative and used the hamburger to make a badly seasoned spaghetti sauce that he put over linguine I had bought to have with white clam sauce. Live and learn.... No one was actually poisoned.
To: Servant of the 9
At least one of the drownings was a victim of a drunken boat driver who rammed her boat and sank it, then left the scene.
I am going out on the lake for the first time Wednesday afternoon -- will take pictures.
