Use this recipe for green tomatoes or any other vegetable that you fry. It is so simple. The batter is light and allows the flavor of the veggie not be overwhelmed by the batter.

Mix equal portions of non light beer...flat, cold or hot with equal parts of flour. Season with salt and pepper or whatever is your perference of spices.

Dredge the veggie and fry in hot oil.

Well, I finally made it back home from my date that started before 5 pm - got home just before 3 am. Pretty good date. *L*

Saw the new Bill Murray movie "Lost in Translation" - we didn't get it. It was slow and dull... not witty or touching or much of anything other than different.
Then we went to Cheesecake Factory, and things got better. Kahlua Kiss drink, pizza and cheesecake. Then a walk by the stone cows above the arboretum, and a walk through the hotel, and then read photography books in Barnes and Noble, drove up Shepard's Hill for a view of the night lights over the city, then stopped at a sports bar with a live band, and I knew the girls singing with the band, so took my camera in and photographed them again.... and ran into another guy I go out with, and a friend of his - then that bar closed so we went to another one - all of us, and the band there was really good and I acutally danced (because I had had enough beer by then to forget that I don't dance) and stayed until that place closed.
So it was a good date.

I am going out with a new guy tonight.... to play darts to start with. He's a 6'4" phys ed. teacher. Rather cute. Sexy voice.

First time I saw that pic I thought, "Some people are just too D@mn stupid toown a Volkswagen."
Not only does the guy who owned it have the plywood on top of the car, but he has several bags of quick-crete on the back seat.

The owner, and old man, stopped the car and 'went for a walk'.
When he came back from whatever he was doing, he saw that his plywood had shifted as seen.
By the by, that's only twine holding that up there.
The police show up, the guy is crouched behind the car under the plywood and is about to cut the twine.
Figure that plywood weighs about a combined total of 1800 pounds..

Damage to the car included the rear struts being shoved through their mounts, rear tires riding on the rims, and the exhaust plus fuel tanks grinding on the ground.
He was going to 'move and build a new house.'

Okay, I'm awake now. No coffee though, so it might not last.
I took some pics of the Cheesecake Factory - will have to download them as soon as I am functional.

Welcome to our Spider Pages. These pages are the ongoing result of a theme of work on Spiders by Year 5G (10 year old children) at Rochedale State School in Australia, done in the second term of each year. Most of this work has been researched or written by these children.

Hey - been doing some chores, some reading, and some posting on the "What type of gun should I buy?" thread here.

Need to start self-prep for going out for a get-together with some family members.

Cheers back to the City.
