The management intelligence inversion layer?
I've heard of it, but never seen it first hand.

I heard Peter Jennings say that. He is so predictable.

Spin was already rampant last night. Whew.
I voted for McClintock. I couldn't bring myself to vote for somebody that is all for gun control. My hubby wouldn't tell me who he planned to vote for before we went to the polls. He admitted afterward that he voted for Arnold. He has this notion that Arnold can be persuaded to be more conservative once in office. He's a lot more delusional, er, optimistic than I am. *sigh*
He even told me that I'm too pessimistic. No, I'm just not wearing my rose colored glasses right now.

LOL! Sounds like a mirror image of the nully hacienda!
To: null and void
Ya know, the guy has an IQ probably in the 160 range (maybe higher, don't know), but when it comes to politics, he seems hopelessly naive. It seems like magical thinking to me to have hopes that a politician, (for example, Arnie) will do the "right thing" when there is no evidence that he will do so, and, in fact, there is evidence that he will do just the opposite. But, hope springs eternal, I suppose...

I'm hearing ads for a new movie about the gospel of John. I had no idea it was being made - have only heard about Mel Gibson's upcoming bibical movie.
These ads bother me... I am not crazy about movies that portray Jesus as a member of the pompous sounding (in an attempt to sound impassioned), overacting British upper crust social set.
To: ValerieUSA
Huh?
To: restornu
The whole ad for the movie is announced by a guy with a snooty British accent, and the sound clips from the movie are of Jesus speaking with a British accent - much like Hollywood's Biblical epics from the 50's. I like the roots of Christianity portrayed as God's outreach to stir the faith of the simple, common people, rather than something that sounds so pretentiously religious. Jesus was a rebel against the worldly religious leaders of 2,000 years ago - and He still is.........

I'm talking about a new movie being released tomorrow based on the Gospel of John -- it is not Mel Gibson's movie.
To: ValerieUSA
I agree it's the same old diluted puke trying to make money off of the gullible!
