Wooooooops! Some journalism teacher I used to be! You don't spell "effort" with an "a". Good thing for you, spelling doesn't count. hahahaha

Here's another Haiku, especially for our StarMan:

43 Technetium

beyond the man-made
a marker in bright depths of
overactive stars

A couple of years I hear. I know at least 2, but probably more.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,

What is interesting is Technetium is a man made element. It is not found naturally. When I had my bone scan, they injected me with radioactive Tc99. :-)

Here's a nice poem for good friends. One worth memorizing. :)

A New Perspective

Elizabeth Barrett Browning

The little cares that fretted me
I lost them yesterday
Among the fields, above the sea,
Among the winds at play,
Among the lowing of the herds,
The rustling of the trees,
Among the singing of the birds,
The humming of the bees.

The foolish fears of what might happen,
I cast them all away,
Among the clover-scented grass,
Among the new-mown hay,
Among the husking of the corn,
Where drowsy poppies nod,
Where ill thoughts die and good are born--
Out in the fields with God.

So the Haiku is wrong? (I didn't write it.)

Didn't you say you like Shakespeare? I have no Shakespeare but do have a couple by other poets saved for the week-end. Of course, I'll have to go to my British recipe book again.
