Too make the comparison of Gen Clark and Hitler is a display of absolute ignorance.

I do not like him in his current form, but that comment goes beyond sensibility.

I agree that General Clark's service merits respect, if not support of his views.

I have been trying to find out more info on Clark, because he intrigues me. I haven't been able to find out much about his views, I have a friend who is very supportive of him and is a registered republican (though probably too moderate for these boards) so I am interested in any info about him.

Mash THIS and start reading. Basically, Clark is unfit to be president for a number of reasons - he has shown himself to be a pathological liar (not that such is a disqualification for the Dem nomination), he doesn't have any kind of policies worked out, and on three occassions during the Kosovo campaign he nearly provoked war with Russia - not a personality trait one would normally want in a president.

I have been to his campaign website. He is definitely a liberal Democrat -- proc-choice, anti-gun, and pro-affirmative action.
