i like to be seasonal : )

Then you should be doing one of a hurricane!!!!

I don't particularly care for seasonal stuff.

We spent I don't know how long digging through stuff in storage yesterday - but got no where near any of my craft stuff - that would have taken a few hours to get through to!!!

And I absolutely refuse to buy any patterns or thread at this point - because I have at least 3-5 skeins of every single DMC color - and 15 unstarted projects and 4 in progess.

Thank goodness I went to the library Saturday - this is going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG weekend.

but, honestly, if I had happened to stumble upon one more Tom vs. Arnold thread...

Seems to me both sides hate each other's candidate more than they hate Grayout Doofus and Bustymonte

Thank you for that. Needs to be up front for the troops, I think.

This could get me detention:

Why is it that perverts and weirdos and idiots are almost always ugly? (Not to say that the reverse applies because it doesn't)

Especially after I invest this afternoon in a few of the simple supplies. When is a cat to old to have the front paws declawed? Furniture shreading will be the one factor that could get her kicked out of the house.

I at least want to help her get into better health, kinda like a project or something. That should give her some time to completely win my heart.

Well, after a mother cat has kittens they recommend feeding her raw egg mixed with milk to get her energy back up. Maybe that would help yours too.

I like them.

I have no "interior" rooms in my house - the dining room and bathroom are the only rooms that have only one window in them. Even the laundry room has 2 windows. Even when it is raining I rarely have to turn a light on in here.

We got used to power outages in Dover and have many oil lamps, and assorted lanterns. Light is generally not a problem.

my eyes are not good enough to stitch by flashlight or lantern! i am having trouble lately in the family room with seeing well enough with the table lamp and am considering one of those DAZOR or OTT lights. the best light for me to see is natural light, and i think that is going to be hard to come by.

Hey ole lady!

(Yeah you. The one over there by the window needin' the spectacklular glasses...)

(Takes off bifocals, ducks behind seat before xsex throws a pillow at him ...)

Ever thought about those magnifying glass lamp thingies they have at the trade stores?

The best come with a floor-type stand and adjustable arm so you have both hands free and can still sit comfortably while lookin' through the magnifier.
