With friends like you, I could go far....

Thank you, but no. I'm quite happy with my Michigan ladies.

Two great lines from Arnold earlier.

Arianna, you need more decaf....

I could drive my Hummer through the tax loopholes you use.

LOL .. That was a funny line about the hummer

Tom did real good on the debate .. but don't know if it's enough to win the election

Found it. It's from Thomas Disch's Camp Concetration.

The camp warden Haast, has just been handed is butt, diced, sliced and stir fried:

"Say what you will - there's something in it" He thwacked the lectern soundly with his fist. Then with his inimitable sense of catechesis, he quoted the epigraph of Berrigan's book [Mars in Conjuction - about Haast's way too long and way to bloody campaign to capture an island - as guided by his horoscopes!]: "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreampt of in your philosophy."
No wonder the man wins all his battles: He doesn't recognize defeat!

It's not.

BUT, Ahhhhnold will be metaphorically becaught in bed with a live boy or a dead woman a few days before the election.

The Davis Slime Machine probably won't be able to tar both Tom AND Ahhhhnold, so they will concentrate on taking out the front runner.

I'm glad I don't have to make a decision to vote.

Tom is well spoken and frames mostissues to my liking and articulates them most closely to my beliefs....but it appears he can't win.

Arnold is funny, frames most issues (not quite enough for me), particularly strong on business and economic issues I think, has charisma....but I'm just not sure.

Arnold for Gov.......tom for the Senate.......compomise?

Davis can't resist the impulse to wound. Trust me, Pay to Play, and Smear are the only two games he really knows...

I don't think it matters. He is a star, he won't be held to the same standards as ordinary politicians.

I agree with you .. Tom is more in my line of beliefs .. but I think Arnold has a better chance of winning

The polictial climate in CA isn't ready yet to elect a true conservative. In time they may, once they realize that we aren't the big bad VRWC like the libs tell them.

Maybe Arnold could be a stepping stone in getting a true conservative elected.

Tom and Arnold made a good tag team in tonights debte

And I wouldn't mind replacing Boxer or Feinstein with Tom

I think you're right.

Arnold is close enough on a lot of issues, particularly economically.....and more than anything that's what Caleefornia needs right now......that I would leave the rest, vote for him and hope that Pubbies could get a new start in that State.

Big bonus.....I think he's funny and is kind of enjoying this....... Arianna, one word.....decaf!

I'm getting my green card and voting for Arnold!

Economically CA is in big trouble and I do think Arnold can fix that .. but I don't kid myself, he is a social republican.

I wouldn't vote for him for President .. but as for Gov I would

Some part of him is a RINO. They didn't discuss those other issues while I was watching. I read his piece in the WSJ today. He really is a free marketer, pro-business, anti-tax believer, and more than anything else, they need that there to get business re-attracted and re-engaged.

Not for President.....no.

Serious agreement there.
