Yep the area in question is in front of the bathroom sinks. but today a friend was over and said ( and it probably is true) that it would look choppy since in the shower area where the shower, tub an toille are is a nice tile from Mexico...that the carpet would look best. Then went on to say that even tho the carpet in the guestrooms is nearly new since there is hardly any traffic there, still the whole area should be carpeted so it all harmonizes and doesn't look patchy...I wouldn't mind all that really but I dread moving ALL THAT FURNITURE....and the hall is narrow and I can just see painting all over again after all the wooldwork and walls get dinged! Dang...I think it would be easier to move into a new house!

still the whole area should be carpeted so it all harmonizes and doesn't look patchy...I wouldn't mind all that really but I dread moving ALL THAT FURNITURE....

I hear ya about moving the furniture .. When we had to move the kids furniture & junk to have the new rugs put in .. we ran out of places to store it all ..

Maybe pick a rug that will match well with the old rug. and that way you won't have to do all that extra work.
